In a guide titled ‘Leveraging Comedy for Social Change’ published by the Center for Media and Social Impact, it was reported that: “Comedy’s ability to actually set a media agenda is well documented by research and practice. <\/strong> The effect of one comedy piece can be magnified infinitely, increasing its ability to reach both target audiences and decision makers who are able to directly impact the issue.”<\/p>\n

And of course, beyond politics, comedy in human life plays an important role in relieving stress<\/strong>, as researched by the Mayo Clinic and others. As the old saying goes: ‘Laughter makes the best medicine.’<\/p>\n

Given the perpetual stress created in today’s dystopian zeitgeist, a good measure of humor is always in order. As we enter the summer months, what better time to take a break for a smile?<\/strong><\/p>\n

And while listening to jokes, memes, riddles, groaners and more, always remember that the real test of good humor occurs when something strikes a chord in us that is Just Right to be funny enough to make us laugh.<\/p>\n
