As if the general understanding about the essential differences between Left and Right wasn’t already confused enough, it’s distressing to realize that the confusion is as pronounced about a single side of the polarity as it is about the differences between the two. <\/p>\n

While the Left can accurately be associated with all forms of collectivism, it\u2019s only logical and consistent that individualism and its political corollaries \u2013 being the very opposite of collectivism \u2013 can only be found on the Right.<\/strong> Yet beliefs persist that varying forms of collectivism are to be found there, once again pushing individualism, freedom and capitalism out of the picture.<\/p>\n

One of these collectivist forms, of course, is fascism<\/strong>. Having long been philosophically and historically associated with the Left, fascism was artificially \u2018moved to the Right\u2019 after the last World war as part of the Democratic Party\u2019s attempt to distance itself from the ideology of Hitler\u2019s fascism which it so openly admired before the war.<\/p>\n

This was the essence of the \u2018Big Lie\u2019 described by Dinesh D\u2019Souza<\/strong> in his book of the same name, and cited on a previous broadcast. And of course, the false association of fascism with the Right has since been used as a political weapon against the Right.<\/p>\n

Yet another collectivist ideology that continues to falsely be associated with the Right is one that appears to be the very opposite of fascism \u2013 anarchy<\/strong>. Paradoxically, in the minds of most, \u2018fascism\u2019 is seen as some form of \u2018total\u2019 government control, while \u2018anarchy\u2019 is associated with \u2018no\u2019 government at all. Yet many continue to associate both with the Right!<\/p>\n

Like fascism, anarchy actually belongs on the Left, where both its ideology and history reside.<\/strong> Entangled in this controversy are similarly confused and contradictory concepts like \u2018Left-Right Coalitions,\u2019 \u2018Democratic Socialism,\u2019 \u2018Monopoly Capitalism,\u2019 and the \u2018New Right\u2019 \u2013 just a few of the persistent notions making it difficult to see what\u2019s Right. And as always, the various adjectives placed in front of the political concept of \u2018Right\u2019 in the end all mean the same thing: \u2018Not.\u2019<\/p>\n

Because when it comes to defining what\u2019s Right, it\u2019s never \u2018alt\u2019 Right or \u2018new\u2019 Right, or \u2018slightly\u2019 Right, \u2018half\u2019 Right, or even \u2018Left-\u2019 Right. It\u2019s Just Right<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
