July 1 2026 marks the 159th anniversary of the dominion of Great Britain known as Canada. Originally referred to as Dominion Day, since 1983 July 1 has become officially known as Canada Day.

Perhaps it's time once again to re-consider the naming of the July 1 holiday: from Canada Day to Canada Daze. The word 'daze' is more appropriately descriptive of the state in which Canadians find themselves, as opposed to whatever ideals might be associated with the nation itself.

As Canada's culture disintegrates before their very eyes, most Canadians still remain unaware of its causes, or worse, are complicit in the collapse and breakup of the nation.

It is sad to realize that most of those describing Canada today speak as if they are reading an obituary. And while some mourn this tragic state of affairs, Canada's globalist prime minister Mark Carney is celebrating Canada's 'post-national' status, along with an apparent majority of Canadians.

As recently described by 'Liam Out Loud', "Canadians are becoming delusional. Mark Carney's approval rating is at 66%. I used to think that things just had to get bad enough for Canadians to wake up, but now it seems that they're hell bent on sleeping through the alarm."

Meanwhile, Carney is outsourcing Canada's sovereignty to the European Union, from which he proudly boasts a 'new world order' will emerge. Worse, he is sending billions of Canadian tax dollars to Ukraine, under the absurd argument that "Putin is going to lose this war and from now until the time he realizes or accepts that, it is absolutely senseless slaughter."

It should not be surprising then that Canadian blogger David Krayden has concluded that "Mark Carney is running the most corrupt government in Canadian history," particularly given Carney's alliance with Zelenski and Ukraine.

We must never forget that in siding with Ukraine, Carney has created an alliance with an entity that has been indisputably and internationally recognized as the most corrupt regime on the planet.

And on this count, Ukraine and Canada have a lot in common.

Carney's government has now unleashed a myriad of bills in parliament all intended to seize total control of free speech, expression, and access to the means of communication. Pretending to take these totalitarian measures 'for the greater good' and for the 'safety of children' makes it obvious that Carney is no friend of Canada or of Canadians.

Combined with surveillance powers and outlandish legislation targeting 'hate' (not just speech but the emotion) the stage has been set for what CanadaPoli blogger Mark Paralovos has called a "communist dictatorship."

Given that the 'hate' provisions are to take effect this month (something else to 'celebrate' on July 1) it remains to be seen whether or not a show like Just Right will be targeted for our hatred of all things collectivist, including politicians like Carney.
