Donald Trump's speech from the White House on July 16 has unleashed a torrent of reactions from those on the right, while those on the left have remained relatively silent and muted. Electoral integrity was the theme of Trump's address, which was coupled with his declassification and release of thousands of verifiably genuine documents now having been made available to the entire public.
Talk about getting the proverbial ball rolling. So, how important do you rate voting or political elections in your life? I mean, like, voting's not exactly something you do every day, right? In fact, one of the common complaints I used to hear about elections is that you only get to cast a vote once every four or five years, after which you have no direct input to the government whatsoever. And it's been my experience that people who think this way generally do not vote or just do so out of some sense of duty. And let's face it, an election is a relatively rare event, and for the average voter represents but a brief moment in time, less than minutes to cast any given vote.
Now, this is not the first time that we've taken a focused look at the issue of voter integrity. On our March 25th broadcast entitled Ballot Boxing, The Fight for Voting Integrity, you may recall that we cited American lawyer Peter Titone declare that on this one issue we either get to keep America or lose America. And with the introduction of the Save America Act requiring voter ID and proof of citizenship, the fight for voting integrity has entered the arena of a ballot boxing match with the right in one corner on the side of the voter and voting transparency, and with the left in the other corner on the side of secretive and hidden tabulation of vote.
Despite the overwhelming number of Americans polled supporting voter ID, the left remains adamantly opposed to these requirements. This fact alone should be all the evidence needed to conclude that the left is dependent on both voter fraud and rigging elections. After all, the principles behind conducting open and transparent elections are so simple and clear that to obfuscate them should be considered criminal. They include the prohibition of mail-in ballots and machine-sourced vote counts, and above all, must include the use of paper ballots, voter ID, and a one-day voting period should be the norm.
But this time, with Trump's latest address to the nation, the significance of the electoral integrity issue has taken on an entirely different dimension. From electoral integrity to official integrity on the part of those charged with providing security and accurate intelligence for both the nation and its president.

President Trump: America is back and doing really well, but we still have a major challenge that must be urgently addressed because no country can be great without fair and honest elections. You have to trust your country because if there can be no trust, there can be no greatness. And that's very simple. No trust, no greatness.
For many years I've called for bold, swift, and decisive action to protect the integrity of America's elections. Every American deserves to know that when they cast their vote, that vote will be counted accurately in a system, and that is to make that system secure, one where cheating and interference are not just difficult, but virtually impossible. Unfortunately, the system we have today falls catastrophically short of that standard.
Tonight I'm announcing the immediate declassification and release of critical intelligence, revealing shocking vulnerabilities in our election infrastructure. But that all changes right now. The documents we will release starting tonight have been gathered by the White House government transparency task force, a great group of people, along with the staff of the President's Intelligence Advisory Board, supported by our top intelligence agency chiefs who have all personally reviewed the findings. The documents cover five major areas of concern. First, they show that over a period of years, starting during the 2020 election cycle, the People's Republic of China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history, resulting in China's illicit acquisition of 220 million U.S. voter files. This data loss presents an unprecedented election security nightmare, compounding the travesty.
The second set of documents we are releasing reveals that members of the deep state, very, very famous group of people, many cases in our intelligence agency worked to actively suppress and downplay information about the extent of China's sinister election meddling, covering it up from both the President and the American people like nobody thought was possible.
U.S. spy agencies began learning about the compromise of voter registration files in 2020 when they discovered that tens of millions of voter data. Think of that, tens of millions of voters' data in 18 states have been bought, stolen, or hacked by China. Yet those responsible for sounding the alarm instead kept the information secret and hidden. They did not disclose to me as president or to anyone else, and to the best of our knowledge, they did not inform Congress. In fact, all they kept saying is this is the most secure election in the history of our country. A standard very pat line that was divvied out to say.
The cover-up of this colossal security breach is even more disturbing in light of the additional information showing that China engaged in other election-related activities to undermine my first administration in our 2020 campaign. Going on, this document says, and this is by the CIA, the strategy included efforts to use Chinese contacts with big U.S. companies to influence U.S. business leaders to turn against the President of the United States of America.
The Chinese government sought to identify U.S. journalists who had reported negatively on the U.S. President and pay them large sums of money to write more negative articles about him, as many as they could, and they didn't care what they said.
The Chinese government wanted U.S. President to lose the next election, and the reason they wanted me to lose is because they knew I was wise to them, charged them billions and billions of dollars worth of tariffs, and built the strongest military anywhere in the world. We have the strongest military anywhere in the world.
These are exact quotes from the CIA reporting. The name of the person doing the quote is now under review, but it gets even worse. Raw intelligence obtained by the FBI in 2020, yet buried by rogue bureaucrats stated that China's activities even included an attempt to manufacture illegal ballots for Joe Biden. Documents show that during this period, dozens of significant CIA and NSA reports about China's election targeting were kept out of the presidential briefing. These were briefings I would get almost every day. Everything was kept out. That was of importance.
One email among intelligence analysts admitted that they had, quote, deliberately massaged the presidential daily briefing to withhold information regarding Chinese activities related to the election. Another official inside the FBI wrote that she was running, quote, a shadow government, unquote, to keep intelligence about China's election meddling from becoming known and to keep it away from the honorable press. Other officials who witnessed such efforts perceived the motivations to be blatantly political.
Yet concealing China's meddling was only the beginning. The third set of documents we are releasing proves that for many years Americans were blatantly lied to about the security of our election infrastructure, including electronic voting machines and ballot counting systems, dishonest almost all. They're vulnerable and they're easily compromised, and people within our government knew that.
Tonight we're publishing a series of previously classified U.S. intelligence community assessments and other reports proving that our government has long known these machines are extremely exposed to attack. The document goes on to further state that, quote, we assess that centralized election-related data repositories, such as voter registration databases, poll books, and other official election websites are most vulnerable to exploitation and adversaries could use this access to these systems to disrupt election processes within the United States of America.
Tonight we're releasing all of those findings and spanning from January 2020 to June 2026. This is a cyber-threat aimed at the very heart of our democracy.
The fourth set of documents reveals that even when significant evidence of fraud has been detected, it has been buried and covered up. Among the disclosures tonight are FBI files detailing evidence of alleged fraud by a large-scale voter registration operation in Michigan.
In 2020, Michigan State Police raided a Democrat get out the vote organization, corrupt group in Muskegon, and we're so concerned by what they found. They were just so concerned, they couldn't believe it actually, that they contacted the FBI in Detroit. The documents state that some canvassers admitted to FBI agents that they signed voter registration forms and other people's names, submitted fraudulent registration for people who did not exist, and received gift cards tied to their number of applications that they produced. In other words, it was pay, play, and cheat. The FBI agents working on the case believe that crimes were committed, yet the Biden Department of Justice slow walked the investigation and killed it.
Tonight I'm asking the FBI director to ensure that the matter is fully investigated and to work with the Department of Justice to prosecute those responsible for any crimes.
Finally, to reveal just how vulnerable our elections continue to be, we are releasing the results of a stunning investigation by the Department of Homeland Security. According to the DHS review, state voter rolls and public records they identified approximately 278,000 non-citizens who are registered to vote in federal elections. Since Democrat states refuse to share their voter files, the real number is actually much higher than that. Yet even this limited analysis found more than a quarter of a million foreigners illegally registered to vote.
Put together these disclosures reveal an election system so broken and so vulnerable that no one can possibly defend it. It is not defensible.
Hundreds of millions of U.S. voter files are in the hands of foreign governments. Our machines and ballot counting systems are exposed to hacking and manipulation and corruption. China and other countries have been trying to meddle in our elections. Evidence of fraud has been buried. Hundreds of thousands of non-citizens and dead people are listed and active on the voter rolls, and yet we still have elections with no voter ID, no proof of citizenship, and tens of millions of ballots floating aimlessly through the mail.
As one example of the insanity California's recent election for mayor of LA and governor was held on June 2nd, long time ago, but it was just completed a few days ago on July 10th. Think of that much more than one month. Took a month to count the votes. I wonder what they were doing.
This is worse than any third world country. There's no third world country that has elections like we have. In a rare move, NBC and ABC fake news have both said that they would not cover this speech. They knew what it was about because of the fact that they don't like the topic, because they know how corrupt our system is and they don't want to reveal it. They and others in the media are part of a plot. They want to continue this fraud for whatever reason. They want to keep it going. They want to protect the radical left. They can't have a great country, and that's true. You can't have a great country without free and fair elections.
Fraud like this should mean a revocation of their licenses. They use our public multi-billion dollar in value airways for absolutely no money. They pay nothing. All we want is honesty in our elections and honesty in reporting. They pay nothing for multi-billion dollar assets.
Great damage has been done to our country. Our elections were left vulnerable to being rigged and stolen, and the trust of the American people was lost.
This cannot be allowed to continue. Every American, whether you're a Republican, Democrat independent or otherwise, should be able to agree that we deserve the most secure, honest and fair election system anywhere in the world. Secure elections should be a partisan, really. Should just we should be together. Democrats, Republicans, independents, everybody. And it should not be a partisan issue. It should cause to unite us, not to divide us. This should be a cause. We should be united.
But most importantly, addressing this crisis of election security demands that Congress must pass the Save America Act. How easy is that to do unless you want to cheat? The only reason you wouldn't do it is you want to cheat because your policies are so bad and your candidates are so pathetic that you can't get away or can't get elected any other way.
To all Americans, I ask you to pick up your phone tomorrow, call your representatives and the House and Senate, and demand that they pass the Save America Act without delay.
Together we will restore faith and confidence in our country, and we will be bigger, better, and stronger than ever before. Thank you. God bless you. God bless our great military, and God bless America. Thank you very much.

When I first heard Trump make the point that an honest and secure election system should not be a partisan issue, and that both Democrats and Republicans should be united on this issue, I couldn't help but think that this was wishful thinking. Because of course, no one on the left wants to end the cheating process. And of course, again, Donald Trump knows that. In fact, by making that statement, he's putting the left under a very uncomfortable spotlight. As Trump himself called it, “the only reason you wouldn't support the Save America Act is because you want to cheat.” Yes, it couldn't be more obvious.
And said Trump, every American deserves to know that when they cast their vote, that vote will be counted accurately in a system, and that is to make that system secure, one where cheating and interference are not just difficult but virtually impossible. And who could disagree?
Now I have my own possible solution to the ballot problem, and how to create a voting system that is quote unquote virtually impossible to corrupt. And as I mentioned earlier, it would begin based on the following principles. The prohibition of mail-in ballots and machine sourced vote counts, the use of paper ballots, voter ID, and a one-day voting period.
But here's my four-point proposal with regard to only one of those components, the ballots themselves. What to do to reduce the possibility of corruption and false ballot counts.
Number one, all voting ballots should be paper ballots.
Number two, every ballot should have a singular, unique serial number of some kind on it, just as is done with paper money, just as is done with money where every bill of a similar denomination has its own unique serial number.
Number three, every serialized ballot should be produced with three quote unquote carbon copy styled copies. One to be put in the ballot box of the relevant electoral district, another to be forwarded to the federal, state, provincial, or whatever authority identifies the sovereignty of that given jurisdiction, and the third copy to be retained by the voter.
Number four. A master list of ballots organized by their unique serial numbers should be published either in hard copy and or made available online with each exercised ballot indicating the candidate for which it was cast. As a key means of verifying valid votes, voters themselves should be able to access the list, refer to the number that's on their copy of the ballot, and then ensure that the recorded ballot with that number has the proper candidate indicated on the ballot.
Remember, voters' names do not appear on the ballots, and while there's always a risk of some untying a particular ballot number to a particular voter or the voter's ID, there are numerous ways of getting around this secondary problem. The one thing you might want to avoid is having the election scrutiny or checking voter ID from being the same person handing out the ballot to that particular voter at that time. But again, that's just a secondary issue, because my main focus on this point was limited to the ballot itself.
But ballots are only part of the integrity problem. Voters are the other critical part. Donald Trump's specific reference to a quote, large-scale get out the voter operation, a corrupt group in Michigan in 2020, end quote, was certainly coincidental with our receipt of the following cryptically timed email addressed to Just Right Media a day after Trump's address. The mailer was from Turning Point PAC, with its subject heading reading The GOP's Dirty Little Secret About Voter Registration. And I quote,
Patriot, here's something every Democrat knows. When it comes to winning elections, ballots aren't everything. They're the only thing. Enthusiasm with no ballot behind it? Worthless. A voter registration card with no ballot behind it? Worthless. Without turnout, a list of registered voters is just a list of people who didn't vote. That's why Democrats don't just register voters, they chase them, they follow up with them, they hold every voter's hand through the entire ballot process. Turning Point PAC enables the only ground operation on our side doing this at scale and matching the Democrats' dollar for dollar. Support ballot chasing today. Early voting starts in less than three months, and right on cue, Democrats and their disgraceful media are already working overtime to demoralize the Republican base and get in our heads, quote unquote. Turning Point's ballot chasers are trained to find these voters, cut through the noise, and make sure they actually vote. Will you help us build the army? Support ballot chasing today.
Well, if nothing else, the very nature of such an appeal demonstrates that, for those on the right, simply having an honest and secure voting system is not a singular solution to reversing America's political drift left. Better to be forced to chase ballots than be forced to vote.
Some countries have mandatory voting laws like Australia, and that country's no better or worse than the other Western countries when it comes to drifting leftward towards tyranny. But of course, voting integrity in Australia broadly has the same shortcomings as in America. So let's hope the Turning Point PAC is chasing real voters, not just ballots. It's clear that their appeal was to voters on the right, since their emphasis on how Democrats win elections was the key to that appeal. Quote, that's why Democrats don't just register voters, they chase them, they follow up with them, etc. End quote.
And has been my observation for years. Folks on the right are generally not politically inclined and tend to withdraw from the political arena every time they chalk up some minor political victory. Failing to engage in politics as a mission of eternal vigilance has been one of the right's main shortcomings.
But ballots and voters aside, there are many other threats to electoral integrity, not the least of which is political fundraising and political spending. That's why my attention was particularly drawn to the small print at the bottom of Turning Point's Appeal, which I quote in part. Non-contribution account for TPPAC Inc. Expenditures other than direct contributions to federal committees. As permitted by law, TPPAC Inc. maintains a non-contribution account for the purpose of influencing federal, state, and local elections. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contribution exceeds $200 in an election cycle. Contributions to this account may be used to influence federal elections by making independent expenditures in support of or in opposition to federal candidates. Individuals, federal committees, corporations, and labor unions may contribute to TPPAC Inc. non-contribution account without limit. Contributions by national banks, foreign nationals, and other foreign entities are prohibited. Contributions to TPPAC Inc. non-contribution account are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes, end quote.
Well, I find the term non-contributory to identify an account that collects contributions to be an interesting term, especially since a distinction was made between such contributions and direct contributions to federal committees. This sounds very much like the financial contribution regulations surrounding officially registered political parties in Ontario, with which I am personally familiar. Contributions qualify for tax creditable receipts. Donations and other forms of income do not.
I could spend an entire broadcast just to point to the intrinsic corruption in Ontario's electoral financing rules, but that's one story that will have to wait a while, because right now we want to hear a couple of other reactions to Trump's speech as well as broaden the theme of our discussion. To that end, on this side of our upcoming bumper from their individual podcasts of July 17th, Glenn Beck and Michael Knowles emphasize what Donald Trump did not say in his address, while on the return side of the bumper, Michael Knowles shifts the spotlight to yet another public address, that of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, declaring some fundamental truths about the left that we have been demonstrating and warning about for years.

Glenn Beck: The President never said that the election was stolen. What the President showed last night were documents that proved China ran the largest known theft of American voter data in history. There is no evidence, none, that China reached into a voting machine and flipped a ballot or changed the outcome of 2020. But that wasn't the charge. The media is treating this story as if that's what the claim was, but that's not the claim.
According to the declassified material, a hostile foreign power known as China spent years assembling a file of 220 million American voters. And the response that the media is giving you today is, nah, most of it's public anyway, you can buy all of that stuff.
Any one fact on that list is harmless. Your address is not a weapon. Your party registration is not a weapon. The weapon is the assembly. The 220 million profiles in the hands of one regime. What does it do with that data? This is a country that tunes the recommendation engine on the phone in your kids' hands. By controlling what you or your family sees is power.
Now, nobody has proven they've used it that way, but that's their intent, at least according to our own intelligence back in before 2020. You do not want to wait for a hostile power to fire the weapon before you admit it is a weapon.
Michael Knowles: The Chinese Communist Party is currently in possession of 220 million U.S. voter files. China currently has the ability to file ballots in your name or to alter your current voter registration. Also, there are well over a quarter million foreign nationals currently illegally registered to vote in federal elections. President Trump revealed all of these troubling findings in a primetime speech that the news networks conveniently decided not to air.
President Trump last night, he actually delivered. There was a ton of declassified information from the CIA, the NSA, the broader intelligence community showing that our election systems, which we are told are as secure as ever. We have declassified intelligence from the IC, CIA, FBI, NSA, showing that our election system is extremely vulnerable to leaks, to hacking, to manipulation by the powers that are most hostile to us around the world, and that the intelligence community knew about this all the way back in 2020, in some cases earlier, and that deep layers of CIA NSA, deep layers of the IC kept that information not only from the president of the United States in his daily briefings, but kept that information even from the heads of the agencies.
Why is Trump giving this speech right now? We are heading into midterm elections, looking ahead to the 2028 presidential election. And what the left is going to say is Trump is trying to relitigate the 2020 election, and he is trying to validate his conspiracy theories.
Some of the reporting said he's going to claim that the Democrat Georgia senators are illegitimate because of election interference. Notice. None of that happened. He didn't do any of that. That is not what the speech is about. That speech last night was about one thing and one thing only, getting Republican senators to pass the Save America Act.
Everybody supports voter ID and voter integrity. You have Democrats trying to stop it because they rely on weakening our election integrity in order to win elections. That's what they're after.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio gave a superb speech yesterday calling for a crackdown on global leftist violence. And what was so great about the speech was not just the diction and the timeliness, but he really got to the heart of what is wrong with socialism, communism, anarchism, all of these leftist ideologies. He really got to the heart of what they're about. Hint, hint, spoiler alert, it's not about economics primarily.

Marco Rubio: More than 80% of radical violence is now driven by far left and anarchist actors. These are not abstract statistics. Americans have seen what those numbers mean. An all-out assault on our immigration officers, sniper attacks, explosives, armed ambushes, a transgender shooter opening fire on Catholic elementary school students as they pray, his gun marked with slogans like, Where is your God now?
A healthcare executive executed in cold blood in the streets. Multiple assassination attempts on a sitting president and the murder of the greatest conservative activist of a generation. This is what radical leftism is. It may wear various different slogans and ideologies across place and time. They can call themselves anti-capitalists or anti-imperialists or communist or anarchist or Marxist, but the fundamental character is always the same. It's always the same.
It is a poisonous resentment cloaked in the language of equality and justice and liberation, an overwhelming need to tear down what greater men have built to wreck what is beautiful and what is right on behalf of people who are only filled with ugliness and have nothing else to offer the world.
Michael Knowles: Spot on, man, absolutely precise from Secretary of State Marco Rubio. What I love so much about this speech is the fact that he recognizes what it's all about.
A lot of people think socialism is about giving money to poor people. A lot of people think communism is about an egalitarian system. A lot of people think that anarchism is about freedom or something. It's not. No. All of those radical leftist ideologies are about the same thing. They're about resentment, envy, and destruction. I'm not even only speaking polemically here. That's what Karl Marx says they're about.
Karl Marx, I think, in the greatest summation of his ideology says everything that exists deserves to perish. That to me is the line from Marx that sums up Marx's view of politics better than anything else. Everything that exists deserves to perish. It is pure destruction. It is a zero sum game, it is negative, it seeks to destroy intrinsically. That's what the left is about. That's why they're more violent. That's why they're angrier all the time. That's why they damage their own bodies, that's why they damage communities, that's why they damage statues and paintings, because the ideology itself is destructive and violent.
And there are some aspects to it that talk about economics. You know, there's some aspects to it that talk about immigration or whatever, but it's not what it's about. The heart of it is violence. That is totally right from Rubio. And it is why we should not look at the now totally undeniable spike in left-wing political violence, even admitted by the left, even admitted by The Atlantic magazine, even using data sets that don't count most left-wing violence, like the BLM violence, like Antifa showing up to college campuses, like trannies shooting up churches and schools. Even when you don't count that stuff, even today, even the leftist magazines have to admit that political violence is chiefly a left-wing problem.
It's why we can't look at that as an unfortunate turn of leftism, of revolutionary leftism. It's an unfortunate turn of revolutionary leftism that's become violent. No, no, no, it just is violence. It just is violence.

And I certainly can't argue with the conclusion that leftism is just violence, but it's interesting to observe that the violence of the left is so often referred to as quote unquote political violence. Political violence is not political. It's just violence. But for some reason, so-called political violence is far more tolerated than criminal and domestic violence.
The concept of politics arose as a means of settling disputes and disagreements without resorting to violence. Politics is about persuasion. Violence in this context refers to the use of initiatory force. When persuasion fails, just use force goes the leftist mantra.
But here's the principle at stake. How force is governed within any culture is a measurement of the degree to which that culture is civilized. Civilization is a process moving from the tribe and tribalism to the individual. Civilized behavior is non-coercive. It's quite correct to label somebody who's initiated violence, force, or fraud against another as being uncivilized. And civilized people have every right to respond to the uncivilized by the use of force, however it may be most effectively and justly applied.
While most on the right seem becoming to a broad understanding that the left represents the use and legitimization of violence in politics, whenever I hear somebody say that the violence is quote unquote chiefly a left-wing problem, my first reaction is to ask, could you please give me a single example of what might be called a right-wing violence problem? And if the response to this question suggests fascism or Nazism, well, then the respondent is just unaware that both of these ideologies are on the left.
But armed with the understanding that the right represents individualism, freedom, capitalism, justice, and equality before and under the law, I would ask again where is there a single example of people who hold these ideals initiating violence or force or terrorism? And the answer is there isn't one. For those on the right, force is exclusively to be used for the administration of justice, defense, and retaliatory action against those who initiate the use of force against others, whether individuals or nations.
And in recalling the leftist mantra of when persuasion fails, just use force. Remember that it's always those on the left who will make the irrational and ridiculous statement that words themselves are violence, which is the left's way of confessing that it has no words of its own to use as the left's quote unquote violent response to the words of the right. The contradictions and hypocrisy that define all things left are a testament to the left's refusal to accept reality itself, something that is demonstrated with every failure of socialism and communism and fascism to improve the general welfare of the people.
So you can well imagine my own delight at having heard the comments of Marco Rubio, who, in expressing what he did, made it sound like he was a regular fan of this show. Now the clip of Rubio that was presented by Michael Knowles was very brief. But given the weight of truth behind what he had to say, here's just a couple of more minutes of his presentation that was not included in the Knowles edit, and which should be heard by all.
Marco Rubio: This is a distinctive and unique evil. It has always been driven by a hatred, above all else, a hatred for civilization itself. It is a revolt of the worst against the best, a revolt of the weak and the cowardly against the strong and the good. It is perpetrated by those who cannot build, who cannot create, who cannot achieve great things, and take their revenge upon the world for their own inadequacy by seeking to destroy those who can.
Through violence and through terror, they once again seek to impose their ugliness on all of us. The old dogma was wrong. The old dogma was wrong. None of this is driven by idealism. It is not utopian. In fact, it is the opposite.
One of the criticisms you sometimes hear of communism, for example, is that it sounds good in theory, but it never works in practice. That's actually not true. Communism does not sound good in theory. The world it envisions for all of us is small, flat, gray, leveled of all exception, drained of all that is good and noble in the human soul. The world it envisions is a world without courage, a world without creativity or ambition, a world without heroes or glory or great causes to strive towards, a world without miracles, without myths, without men who rise above the rest to do incredible and extraordinary things. And the world communism envisions is a world without God.
For these architects of revolutionary violence, the towering achievement of our civilization, for them, it's an unbearable humiliation, a reminder of what they cannot do, and a reminder of what they cannot be. So they choose instead to destroy. They attack pipelines, they attack railroads, they attack power grids and laboratories, the physical embodied symbols of power and invention and achievement. This is the nature of the terrorism we face today. They despise the West because the West is great.
Bob Metz:
And so was that speech, an absolute work of greatness in itself. I really don't know what else I could add to Rubio's message other than to express one of the points he raised in another way with which most are familiar. And that was the idea that communism and socialism sounded good in theory but never work in practice.
Another way that theory has been expressed is in some variant of from each according to his ability to each according to his need, which doesn't sound good in theory because it explicitly describes the condition of slavery. In theory, socialism promises something for nothing. In practice, it delivers nothing for something.
But to say that socialism doesn't work, again, that depends on the answer to the question, work at what? And if, as Rubio clearly stated, the left is all about destruction and violence, then for the left you'd have to admit that socialism does work at producing those conditions and effects, which is why the real question and challenge facing us is will socialism win or will civilization win? There's your left and right polarity and the binary choice that must be resolved.
Now, up next, on this side of the bumper, Michael Knowles turns our attention to Trump's threat to withhold the broadcast licenses of some of the mainstream networks, and to the utter failure of the establishment media to play its essential role as the fourth estate. And on the return side, Alex Jones in conversation with Patrick Byrne, wherein both are of the opinion that Trump's release of the documents represents the biggest expose in American history. And as we know, history is always in the making.

Michael Knowles: President Trump does not like that the news networks did not cover his bombshell speech last night. So he's contemplating pulling their broadcast licenses. The question is, is there a legal justification to revoke their broadcast licenses? There are certain criteria, according to which there's a rubric according to which the government can revoke the broadcast licenses for these networks that are on public airwaves. NBC, ABC, they have no right to those licenses.
Licensees, these public broadcast networks must operate as public trustees of the spectrum, serving their local communities' needs. So public affairs programming, covering the news, and failure can lead to non-renewal of their licenses. So in this case, would you say that a national address by the president of the United States on a crucial matter such as the integrity of our elections. Would you say that's a matter of public interest? Would you say that that's that covering that sort of news would be servicing community needs? Would you say that is part of would you say that is part of the deal when a news network signs up to get a public broadcast license? Would you say that covering that kind of thing, the president covering a crucial issue, getting to the very heart of our politics, a national address. Would you say that's part of the deal when you sign up to get a broadcast license? Because I would. I would say that. And the fact that Trump is now threatening to revoke their licenses, I think is a good thing. And I think these guys need to be brought in line.
In other words, let me be perfectly clear, lest the left and the squishy loser right get confused about this. The threat to our freedom and our way of life, and our great national traditions and our standards and norms and our country. The greater threat to all of those things lies in the perfidy and corruption of the media, more so than it does in the duly elected, popularly elected president of the United States, wielding the power that is afforded to him.
The greater threat to our freedom and our way of life and our standards and our norms, even though I know Trump's an eccentric character, the greater threat lies in the absolute corruption of our of our establishment media, especially the broadcast networks. No question about it.
It's probably not gonna happen. You know, there would be a lot of hurdles to it, but he's absolutely right to make the threat.
Clip (Alex Jones, July 18 2026, Patrick Byrne):
Alex Jones: Well, Patrick, you've been working for decades or so about to come to this moment. And as much as Trump has pissed me off last year, he did a lot of great stuff too. He just reproved himself. I mean, he I got five people. They can't keep track thousands of CI documents. Everything you said, it's all coming out. But my lord, am I wrong, or did he just deliver? Whoa.
Patrick Byrne: You're not wrong. I would describe this. This is a home run. This is all grand slam President Trump.
Alex Jones: I mean, we're talking flood here. And we were clicking on him, it's CIA seals. It's everything he's saying. I mean, this is the deep state is shitting a brick right now.
Patrick Byrne: And Flynn just Flynn just just posted something on X saying the people running the CIA and NSA should be arrested right now.
Alex Jones: Let's put that on the... So Flynn's calling for the traitors at CIA that aided about China's arrest. Breaking General Flynn calls for the arrest of CIA traitors that worked with China to steal U.S. elections.
Patrick Byrne: Yeah. And it was Gina Haspel. It was Mike Pompeo. Mike Rogers left in 2018. Uh Rogers might actually have been okay. He's the guy who tipped off Trump and he was gone by 2018. But it's interesting, Flynn's calling for them to be arrested based on these documents. Can you imagine? They knew that China had done this to our country, and they buried it. They decided to bury it.
Alex Jones: You've been a key, not a key player. I would call you the alpha player so much in the Venezuela at least, and in China. I mean, everything you've said has come out now. This is total vindication for Patrick Byrne right now.
Patrick Byrne: Let me tell you one story about Mike Pompeo, you're right. Mike Pompeo is a dirty, rotten scoundrel, and he knew about this. And according to Flynn's tweet, he should be arrested. How horrible to be Trump and to be relying on people? I've been in this situation before. It's so debilitating. You've got these people who that's a team within your team pretending to be pretending to be on your side, how horrible that he's relying on guys like Pompeo and Haspel. And they are selling him out. They're it's horrible to be a man. I mean, good for Donald Trump to stand up to this.
Alex Jones: But this is a big deal. So we're getting the documents. Look at these overhead shot, please. I mean, this is insane. This is just what we printed off, folks. It is literally a fire hose. This is like two drops from fire hose here. We have voter data states with the Chinese stealing it all. We have the CIA intercepting and all, proving 2020 that it all went on. We have CIA Venezuela machines, Maduro stealing the election, which you helped catch them do. We have FBI Michigan voter confirms that it's all fraud and Chinese involved with the Democrats, FBI Michigan witness interviews. All this is in here.
We have alien voter registration summary, we have the Chinese infiltrating the media buying off the media. I mean, this is this is incredible stuff, and it goes on and on. CIA documents declassified by President Trump. And look, that says July 3rd, so he was already ready for this. Back then, and it goes into all of this. I mean, this is drinking out of a fire hose. I mean, each one of these, we can do a whole show on each one of these. I mean, this is unbelievable. We are getting this right now. Patrick Byrne, how big is this?
Patrick Byrne: This is the biggest, the biggest expose. This is bigger than if they release the JFK files. Frankly, this shows once people dig into this, they're gonna understand every election of ours since 2010, at least, going back to 2010 has been compromised. Not to say that everyone's been picked by China, but they've had a thumb on the scale. They can move things sort of five, six, seven percent without leaving a trace.
For 2500 years, they've said the greatest victory is to win without fighting. They have taken, they have smashed the United States and the West into a bridge abutment.
Our closest enemies are Venezuela and Cuba. They're the front line of what happened. They're like the joint venture who tried to pull the rug out from or hit us with the assassin's mace. The shareholders, the major shareholders are Iran and China. So, what we've done to Iran, Iran had coming, this is the greatest act of war since 1776, frankly. We almost lost the country. We almost lost the country. And because of this, what happened in 2020, it was rigged.
And frankly, if Trump hadn't been quite a mench to stand up to this, he fought for us, he fought for the country, he dodged a bullet, literally, and by releasing all this, Flynn has taught me this. Information, the truth, is the greatest weapon of all.
Bob Metz:
And that's the truth. But to be effective as a weapon, the truth must first be witnessed, heard, and judged, and understood to be the truth. You know, we've all heard the phrase, “you can't stand the truth,” which is unfortunately also true when it comes to those in outright denial of a given truth, which is something that those on the left engage in religiously.
So for the right, the strategy of how to deal with the left in a state of denial is not going to be resolved by means of persuasion. It must come with the expectation of consequences for those engaged in violence, which ultimately will require the use of force. And while, despite those in denial, the truth is the greatest weapon of all, it must first be heard, which brings us back to Michael Knowles' warning that the greater threat lies in the absolute corruption of our establishment media.
Well, the fake news media must be replaced by a real news media. And this is a critical component of creating voter integrity, since one requires informed voters to make informed decisions, not the kind of voters created by the corporate legacy media, which brings us back to Trump's election integrity theme. “It's not who votes that counts it, who counts the vote.”
And there's a popular refrain I often hear from frustrated and disappointed people on the right when they say that we can't just vote our way out of this mess. Well, no, voting alone won't do the job. But a sound, honest voting system is basic to any solution out of that mess. Because remember, every vote, when cast, represents a decision based on whatever a particular voter has come to understand and support at the time of a given election. And that process occurs between elections. So in saying that we can't vote our way out of the mess, people are making a gross misassumption, one that can be revealed by asking two questions. First, to what mess is one referring? And let's broadly refer to it as a popular acceptance of socialism and its woke ideologies. Second, what political option exists that is not part of creating that mess and that would offer a genuine solution to the mess.
And here is where the largest bottleneck to voter choice presents itself. The naturally restricted number of political parties and candidates from which to choose. The reason the West is in the mess it's in is because virtually all official political parties are some variant of the left.
There are no parties on the right, although Trump has miraculously pushed the Republican Party further right than it is comfortable being.
And another popular refrain we often hear is to say if voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal. Well, the reality is that voting's not just about changing things for most voters. It's about keeping things the same, preventing change, defending the status quo, which in the case of government and elected officials becomes the statist quo.
It has to be acknowledged that the majority public very rarely wants political change. What it wants is political stability and an environment that will leave them relatively alone with regard to their personal pursuit of happiness, but provide them with some kind of guaranteed security in the form of free health care, free education, free retirement benefits, free anything they can get. And that, in a nutshell, describes the quote unquote mess that we're in. The public wants to have its cake and eat it too.
And yes, we're all in this together, whether we're talking about a civilizational collapse or a civilizational recovery. It's the fact that we're all in this together that makes it all the more difficult for the mess we're in to be objectively seen and recognized or experienced on an individual level, and which makes it difficult to find a way out of that mess. Once we recognize that any political change must be preceded by a cultural change.
But voting does indeed have an impact on our political environment and is largely responsible for the so-called mess that we're in. We live in an increasingly collectivist society because people voted for it. And the secret to changing that trend is to simply vote for its opposite. Which of course is simple, but simple is rarely easy. Because the first step is to create a viable political option that is an option on the right for freedom and capitalism as a matter of principle. And that just hasn't happened yet.
And as for all the other uniparty options, they've already been infiltrated by socialists and communists from top to bottom. And given the realities of foreign intervention in the West elections, I imagine every country has fears of foreign interventions surfacing within their governments. And ironically, I can think of at least one country in which many of its citizens would love to have some foreign intervention with their government. But we've already recently featured a few entire broadcasts on Canada.
