Comments Off on Globalism, Islamism, and Immigration – An open discussion
Aug212019
Taking a break from the People’s Party of Canada Candidates Conference in Gatineau, Quebec PPC candidates Mark Friesen, Frank Vaughan, David Haskell, Laura Lynn Tyler Thompson, and Ivan Pak speak freely about three of the most provocative issues in Canada: globalism, Islamism, and immigration.
It is safe to say that no other political party would allow such candor.
This is a Just Right Media exclusive made possible by the financial support of our fans. Thank you very much to all who contributed to have Bob and Robert in Gatineau for the People’s Party of Canada Candidates Convention.

Comments Off on 618 – The Anglosphere and Western Culture with Guest Salim Mansur
Aug152019
National Post columnist Conrad Black has suggested that U.S. president Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will work together to “strengthen the Anglosphere, the most positive force in world affairs for 200 years.” It’s an effort supported by our guest Salim Mansur (professor emeritus of political science at Western University) who joins us to offer his insights to the multi-dimensional aspects of this ‘positive force’ in a way rarely understood or appreciated.
Are the values of the Anglosphere the same as Western values? Many might answer this question in the affirmative, but the comparison is not as straightforward as one might expect.
While many nations not part of the Anglosphere have indeed become westernized, it would be a mistake to conclude that these nations now share similar cultures or values. Understanding how these differences impact on the controversial issues of culture and multiculturalism goes a long way towards discovering a solution to many problems facing a so-called ‘multi-cultural’ West.
From the origins of a unique British-American relationship, to the impacting events of recent Western history, Salim guides us on a historical path rarely traveled. He paints the picture that identifies multiculturalism as a central force driving a myriad of contemporary political issues including: immigration and migration, climate change, media censorship, sexuality and gender, and of course, the threat of socialism and communism.
With the continued ascendancy of the Left in the West, any efforts to strengthen the Anglosphere have a long way to go before things turn in the direction that is Just Right; they will demand an eternal vigilance throughout the rest of a history yet to be written.

After suffering for years under the globalist boot heel of Justin Trudeau and his crony Liberal party, is there a possible light at the end of the socialist tunnel?
Join Danielle and Robert as they discuss the prospects of the new People’s Party of Canada, a party that nakedly ascribes to the principle of freedom (now where have we heard of that concept before?).
Comments Off on Rachel Fulton Brown – Is academia good for the soul?
Aug082019
“Academia has been corrupted by generations of scholarship more focused on tearing down Western civilization than celebrating its triumphs.” ~ Rachel Fulton Brown
University of Chicago Professor Rachel Fulton Brown presents to the Society For Academic Freedom and Scholarship her view that the triumphs of Western civilization stem from its roots in Christianity and not so much in its secularism and that there are forces in academe attempting to destroy the Christian tradition in Western society and in doing so Western civilization itself.

Comments Off on 617 – Social media censorship is not Right
Aug082019
Social media arose, in part, as an alternative to the so-called ‘mainstream’ media, an empowering communication tool for individuals made possible by the incredible technology of the Internet.
With mainstream media dominated by establishment voices of the Left, it was expected that those same voices would also be dominant on the internet and on social media. But that’s not what happened.
The rise of voices on the Right on social media demonstrated that their reports and commentaries were far more reliable – and popular – than what was being heard from the voices of the Left. This presented the Left with a challenge to their narratives that was previously absent.
However, what was initially not relevant to many who participated on social media platforms is the fact that the major platforms are owned and managed by those with a leftist agenda – the ‘social media giants’ – people who apparently don’t seem to mind manipulating the truth to their advantage. So now it has become relevant.Continue reading »
Comments Off on Bruce Pardy – The Effect of Free Speech Laws on Universities
Aug012019
“The university is broken. It’s petty. It’s corrupt, intellectually corrupt. It’s a breeding ground now for authoritarians.”
So begins Professor Bruce Pardy’s presentation to the Society for Academic Freedom and Scholarship’s 2019 AGM.
His talk on the attempts by the Ontario government, led by Doug Ford, to curtail abuses of academic free speech focuses on the recent actions by some universities against some conservative speakers restricting their access to campus after protests by radical and sometimes violent Leftists.
Prof. Pardy’s thesis is that while the Conservative government’s attempt to prevent such biased restrictions is welcome it will not succeed due to the current state of the law in Ontario in the context of Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
“If you want to change the law or influence you gotta change the culture.”

Comments Off on 616 – Against the people – The misleading narratives of the mainstream media
Aug012019
“The People’s Party of Canada is a political force that is not to be ignored or underestimated. The PPC is a call to arms,” writes listener Trevor D. in response to our show last week featuring the People’s Party of Canada (PPC) and its leader Maxime Bernier.
His observation is echoed this week by the Rebel Media’s David Menzies, who joins us briefly to share his own surprising insights about the PPC – and of the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC). It was, after all, the CPC that was responsible for driving out both its former members Bernier and Salim Mansur for their courageous attempts to put the most compelling issues facing Canadians on the electoral platform.
As of July 19th when we attended a packed PPC meeting in London, the PPC had already amassed a slate of candidates greater in number than the Green Party, the Liberal Party, and the NDP, while boasting a membership of some 41,000.
Capacity and near-capacity crowds have been attending PPC events across the country where voters can meet Maxime and their local area PPC representatives – candidates whose backgrounds and qualifications defy the current mainstream media narrative about the PPC.Continue reading »
