Unlike those suffering with Trump ‘Derangement’ Syndrome, those subject to the Trump ‘Rearrangement’ Syndrome will actually have something real to contend with. Donald Trump’s plans heading into his next term as president include a litany of changes that will rearrange America’s political scene in a way never before attempted.
With Trump’s aggressive plan to dismantle the deep state and to reclaim freedom of speech as the cornerstone of a free society, a new syndrome is arising, one that specifically afflicts those in the deep state: the Trump Rearrangement Syndrome.
Symptoms include an open and public refusal to acknowledge Trump’s presidency, attempts to jail Trump, attempts to assassinate Trump, propaganda campaigns directed against Trump, and infecting the public with lies that lead to Trump Derangement Syndrome.
One of the strangest things about the 2024 election was how the Democrats ran a campaign as if Trump was the incumbent. This is telling. Not only did this strategy suggest that they knew the last election was stolen, but they were also psychologically acknowledging that Trump remains the people’s choice.
Perhaps the most hypocritical and contradictory policy monopolized by the Democrats was their supposed support of ‘democracy’ – when every fiber of their being objects to holding fair and transparent elections. They are opposed to voter ID. They are opposed to recounts in jurisdictions where a re-count is called for. They prefer mail in ballots to voting in person. They have no problem with illegal aliens voting in American elections. And above all, they are opposed to anyone bringing the issue up in a public forum.
Thus, on the one hand we had Trump campaigning to put ‘America first,’ while the Democrats were campaigning to put ‘Democracy first’ – and on a global scale.
It should be understood that when it comes to the concept of ‘democracy,’ the Left and Right have diametrically opposing views. The Right sees democracy a a set of rights providing the means to limit the state; the Left sees democracy as a system of majority rule providing a moral justification to limit the individual.
Any way you look at it, with Trump and his team at the helm, it may be the first time in many decades that the political trend in America is pointing in a direction that is Just Right.
