Both Canada and the United States recently celebrated their respective ‘birthdays’ as nations: July 1 (Canada Day / Dominion Day) and July 4 (Independence Day). Each nation shares a common British heritage, one that allowed the emergence of freedom and individual rights creating what we broadly refer to as Western culture.

Sadly, each nation also shares a common enemy: those who promote an evil ‘cancel culture’ ideology based on revisionist histories of pure fiction. Evil to the core, ‘cancel culture’ promotes racism at every opportunity, opposes capitalism, freedom, individualism, and is in essence a death cult. It is the political face of the Left.

As with everything on the Left, ‘cancel culture’ represents an absence, a vacuum, a ‘nothingness’ based on nihilism. Thus it bears reminding that cultures are never ‘cancelled,’ but replaced. No nation or people can exist in a cultural vacuum because culture is the ‘glue’ that binds individuals to a given collective, for better or worse.

So the question begs asking: what specific culture is the one ‘replacing’ our culture of freedom? The evidence glaringly suggests that it is the Communist culture of China – a culture of tyranny. Continue reading »

Mark Vandermaas has begun an effort to alter the course of Canadian culture and politics one province at a time by creating the New Brunswick Freedom Project.

Inspired in part by the New Hampshire Free State Project Mark’s plan is to encourage those who value individual rights and personal freedom to move to New Brunswick and shift the province’s political compass towards more individual freedom and less socialism.

With its relatively small electorate of less than 600,000, Mark believes that any efforts to change the Canadian political environment will have a greater effect in New Brunswick than any of the more populated provinces.

Like many countries in the Western world, Canada is being ruled by “mad doctors and B-movie Nazis.”

State health care officials, with the aid of fascist politicians in all parties, have created a tyranny unlike any before experienced in history. Yet there are millions of people who remain utterly blind to their political condition, unable to conceptualize a political evil that has killed and murdered hundreds of millions of people throughout history.

Part of their blindness has been caused by the fear generated around a fictional flu pandemic and by very real threats of force and violence by their governments – governments that have utterly abandoned their primary duty to protect individual rights and to maintain a condition of freedom.

And of course, a great part of this blindness is the result of various corporate media spewing outrageous and false propaganda about ‘Covid cases’ and viral ‘variants’ in a never-ending round-the-clock Orwellian campaign to coerce people into getting a highly dangerous and deadly ‘vaccine.’ Coupled with outright censorship of anyone who expresses the truth about the ‘vaccines’ or about the real fascist agenda, those who never hear the truth thus become agents of their own destruction. It is often said that we never seem to ‘learn from history.’ Perhaps in today’s context it can be further argued that it is impossible to learn from history given that history is being re-written to reflect a past that just wasn’t so.

This false depiction of history has been described as part of the so-called ‘cancel culture’ movement, a movement that has adopted all of the evils of the collectivist regimes defeated in World War II. Indeed, the history of the Western nations since the defeat of Hitler and the Nazi regime in 1945 reflects a philosophical shift towards the very collectivism that was fought against.

In the Western world today, our governments are openly adopting Marxist ideology under the guise of ‘equity,’ ‘racism,’ ‘white supremacy,’ ‘climate change,’ and even of fighting a viral pandemic. What all these seemingly unrelated issues have in common is that they are manufactured crisis designed to expand the power of the state at the expense of individual freedom.

How did we get here? That’s the question our guest Salim Mansur addresses as he describes Marx’s binary notion of the oppressor and the oppressed, a false notion that continues to be accepted as grounds for the destruction of individual freedom.

The parable of the grasshopper and the squirrel illustrates this lesson from history, suggests Salim. Continue reading »

In attempting to end our current authoritarian regime and to re-assert individual rights, it might be useful to discover how individuals ever triumphed over authoritarianism in the first place. It is a journey that can take us back to biblical days.

Individualism arose from the collective, not the other way round, asserts our guest Salim Mansur. It arose when individuals began to question authority, a theme illustrated by the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Having eaten fruit from the ‘tree of knowledge,’ that knowledge itself produced the phenomenon and recognition of free will and individual choice.

It is a mistake to speak of individualism as if it stands in complete isolation from any collective (not to be confused with collectivism). Paradoxically the terms ‘individualism’ and ‘individual rights’ have absolutely no meaning or context without some identifiable collective against which they can be contrasted – and which enshrines those values as being fundamental to that collective.

Today, many nations, provinces, and other jurisdictions no longer protect or defend the very individual rights that once justified their democratic and legal authority. Instead, their politicians and governments routinely violate these rights. They have apparently discovered that throughout history, fear has been the successful pretext for abridging individual freedom, and it is no different today. Continue reading »

704 – The Ford Reich—Ontario’s fascist variant

When University of Western Ontario professor Donald Welsh compared Ontario’s COVID strategies to the Holocaust, he was roundly condemned by the Ford government’s spokesperson Ivana Yelich: “These inflammatory comments are totally unacceptable. Nothing should ever be compared to the Holocaust.”

And with that, she proved the professor’s case. Indeed, it is a failure to compare today’s events in Ontario with those of the Holocaust (and other similar historical parallels) that should be considered both an intellectual and moral crime. To suggest that ‘nothing’ should ever be compared to the Holocaust is a call to ignore the lessons of history – and to promote totalitarianism and tyranny – two singular realities that have emerged from Doug Ford’s Progressive Conservative Party in Ontario.

Yelich’s statement is also an extraordinary insult to those who suffered under the evil fascist philosophies of the Holocaust – historical versions of the very philosophy and policy of today’s Ford’s government. But most importantly, it was a veiled attempt to prevent looking in the mirror, and to prevent the public from seeing the Ford government in its true philosophical light – fascist.

“For 14 months, we have all been part of a highly dangerous experiment. It was foisted upon us, without consent, by a radical group of public health fundamentalists. These extremists have terrorized civil society and attempted to shut down and destroy free thought,” tweeted Professor Welsh in a perfect and accurate description of a fascist state.

Bravo Professor Welsh! Those who have accused you of expressing ‘offensive’ statements are themselves the ones who are offensive.

We encourage everyone to follow the example of Professor Welsh because he got it Just Right and had the courage to say so.

The global chorus of identical voices emanating from the COVID vaccine propaganda machine has reached a new crescendo. Among those voices is Ontario’s fascist premier Doug Ford who recently turned the province into a literal police state – save for the fact that the police themselves refused to cooperate.

But the fascist efforts continue unabated nonetheless. Even the victims of vaccine propaganda have become propagandists themselves, driven by the very fear and ignorance that the propaganda engendered.

What is particularly startling about all the ‘vaccine’ propaganda is how uncritically so many people accept outright lies and demonstrably false information as being valid. This is beyond tragic, especially considering the thousands upon thousands of adverse reactions to what are not vaccines, but various experimental genetic modifiers (gene therapy) being fraudulently presented to the public as actual vaccines.

The incredible gulf between a growing number of doctors on the health care frontlines and the official medical establishment’s continuing stance on the COVID ‘vaccines’ has revealed an official agenda that warrants criminal sanctions. Officials have grossly and fraudulently inflated the number of deaths caused by COVID while simultaneously grossly and fraudulently deflating the number of deaths and crippling consequences of the vaccines themselves.
