Both this year’s State of the Union Address and Trump’s bombing of Iran have provided explosive revelations about the true divide between the political Left and Right.
Indeed, the way Democrats behaved during Donald Trump’s State of the Union Address (delivered Tuesday Feb 24, 2026) was simply uncivilized. They revealed themselves to be perfect caricatures of everything Left.
The image accompanying this week’s blog post depicts the Democrats on the Left remaining seated, while the Republicans on the Right all stand in affirming that their first duty is to protect American citizens, and not illegal aliens.
As a visible demonstration of the polarity between Left and Right, podcaster Matt Walsh remarked that the differences between the Left and Right “are vast and infinitely deep. I have no patience for anyone who says the Left and Right are the same thing. Left and Right are not the same. It’s not a small difference or of style and tone; it is a substantive real difference.”
And in another glaring display of the polarity between Left and Right, America’s bombing of Iran and the killing of Khamenei was generally celebrated by those on the Right (including thousands of Iranians around the world) while those on the Left protested against taking out a dictatorial regime.
Expect the fog of war to thicken, as competing narratives of events surrounding the Iran war keep the public confused, and slow an understanding of the situation in a way that’s Just Right.
