As advocates of individualism and individual freedom, during the 2021 Canadian federal election we endorsed the People’s Party of Canada under the leadership of Maxime Bernier. Now, with the June 2, 2022 provincial election pending in the province of Ontario, our endorsement goes to the Freedom Party of Ontario under the leadership of Paul McKeever.

Why Freedom Party? To answer that question in a way rarely understood or appreciated, Paul McKeever joins us to discuss many of the persistently pursued, failed, and futile political strategies to which well-intentioned advocates of freedom continually succumb.

For those anxious or desperate to escape a given tyranny of the day, the idea of supporting a new and original political option is immediately dismissed.

Instead, this group is focused on ‘voting against’ the party in power and will generally choose to vote for any other party that appears to have a chance of winning an election. The fact that all of the parties in this electoral position are the same – ideologically and politically – merely offers an option of replacing one tyrant with another. Continue reading »

722 – Political breakthrough variant—the People’s Party of Canada (PPC)

Persistent political superstitions shared by a majority of voters have long been a major obstacle to the establishment of any real choice at the election polls. Among them: a fear of ‘splitting the vote,’ ‘voting for the lesser of’ a given number of evils, ‘the wasted vote,’ ‘voting against instead of for,’ and others.

Referred to as variants of ‘strategic voting’ it may be better to label these voting fallacies as ‘strategic vote wasting’ because that is the ‘invariable’ result of ‘strategically’ voting. Worse, there is only one political direction towards which ‘strategic voting’ leads: Leftward.

It is possible that more Canadians are now awakening to this reality. Thanks to the tyrannical ‘Covid’ policies of all the political parties in Canada’s parliament, more Canadians are seeing Red and turning Purple – the official colour of the People’s Party of Canada (PPC).

To illustrate why this may be so, we are pleased to feature highlights of our discussions with PCC leader Maxime Bernier and New Brunswick PPC candidates Wayne Wheeler, Nicholas Pereira, and Jack Minor. Continue reading »

“I hate politicians” declared Canada’s most popular voice for “united non-compliance,” Chris Sky. “I don’t like the idea of having to become a politician just to reach the people and get them to realize they don’t need a politician to save them.”

And on that premise Chris Sky has recently been making enemies of many who support his message, but who choose to fight for freedom on a political platform. On Canada Day (July 1) at an Ottawa rally against the lockdowns, its organizers accused Sky of disrupting their event. Sky responded by calling the organizers “liars” and by insisting that he had been invited to speak.

The dispute was brought to the attention of American and international audiences when Sky appeared on the Stew Peters Show critical about how he had been treated in Ottawa. Sky’s narrative was then immediately countered by Mark Friesen, who debated the issue with Sky on a subsequent Stew Peters program.

Consequently, what at first appeared on the surface to be a ‘tempest in a teapot’ over mix-ups in scheduling, proved to be disturbing evidence of a much deeper brewing problem. Continue reading »

717 – Conspiracies—from theories to facts

No longer ‘theories’ but facts, the ‘Covid’ conspiracy and the ‘stolen election’ conspiracy have now been documented and verified by objective means. And with these facts, the ‘great awakening’ begins to accelerate at a pace not yet seen – which also accounts for the acceleration of the conspirators who insist that every person on the planet must be injected with their experimental ‘gene therapy’ posing as a vaccine.

The greatest evidence of the ‘great awakening’ is not to be found in plain sight, but in the massive resistance against so-called ‘vaccinations’ now directly being challenged by the conspirators themselves.

“It never occurred to me after three highly effective vaccines were developed in under a year, that we’d have difficulty getting Americans to take the shots,” lamented Republican In Name Only (RINO) Mitch McConnell, “but that’s obviously where we are.

“These shots need to get in everybody’s arm as rapidly as possible,” he insisted, “or we’re gonna be back in a situation in the fall that we don’t yearn for, that we went through last year. The way to defeat getting back into the position we were last year is to get vaccinated.” Continue reading »

707 – The principles of politics versus the politics of principle

“Freedom! Freedom! Freedom!” That has been an increasing chant heard at ever-growing protests around the world and in Canada, where Ontario’s fascist premier Doug Ford boasts that his is the most locked down jurisdiction in North America.

Sad to say, freedom has never been on the agenda of any political party found in the federal parliament or provincial legislatures of Canada. This is remarkable, given that freedom has always been touted by each of these parties as being a fundamental value of the nation. Yet freedom always takes a back seat to their various collectivist priorities – priorities that simply cannot possibly co-exist with freedom.

Tragically, most of those chanting ‘freedom’ are not really seeking individual freedom because they do not even know what freedom is. Rather, they are desperate to escape their latest version of oppression – currently a pretended ‘viral’ epidemic created to generate fear and to justify the unjustifiable – tyranny.

Though it is true that Canada lacks principled leadership, the real weakness in the Canadian fabric is not to be found in its leaders; it is to be found in Canadians themselves who routinely dismiss supporting the rare political party or politician that would put freedom first. Continue reading »

“History is made by minorities – or, more precisely, history is made by intellectual movements, which are created by minorities. Who belongs to these minorities? Anyone who is able and willing to actively concern himself with intellectual issues.” – Ayn Rand

Along with their global counterparts, Canadian politicians have become willing collaborators in a plan to establish global fascism. Leading the charge is Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, an avowed admirer of totalitarian government. As a globalist himself, Trudeau does not represent Canadians but instead represents a small group of evil individuals who have made no secret of their plans to destroy the West and all Western values.

Canadians are reliving a very familiar political pattern in history, not unlike that of the Vichy government in France during the last world war. Then, as now, the greatest weapon threatening the fascist German government was freedom of speech – and the power of the ideas being spread by those in the resistance.

“The battle of human history is fought and determined by those who are predominantly consistent, those who, for good or evil, are committed to and motivated by their chosen psycho-epistemology and its corollary view of existence,” observed Ayn Rand. Continue reading »
