The spitting image of the Left

Spitting In The Face of Freedom and Democracy

Though an isolated incident during the downtown London Ontario protests this past weekend, the image of Bailey Lamon literally spitting on the face of a PEGIDA supporter is perfectly symbolic of what the rest of the 500 “counter-protesters” at the event were doing: spitting in the face of freedom and democracy.

Not surprisingly, the counter protesters consisted of a coalition of Leftists. Clearly identified individuals and groups included Marxists, Antifa “anti-fascist” fascists, the Communist Party of Canada, the fake news media and commentators (i.e., the London Free Press), and others. Hate-and-obscenity spewing professional agitators openly displayed their hate and obscenity on signs, flags bearing the hammer and sickle were flying, and many individuals in the crowd wore Marxist Che Guevara T-shirts.

Leading and encouraging the pack was none other than London’s mayor, Matt Brown, who proudly joined them in a display of public INTOLERANCE never before witnessed in London.

“Londoners came together, they stood in solidarity and they clearly communicated that there is no place for hate, racism, Islamophobia in our community,” he proudly boasted in the Aug 28 London Free Press. Continue reading »

Antifa flag in history

You have to wonder if it’s fake news. The report that an ESPN broadcaster has been removed from the season opener football game in Charlottesville at the University of Virginia because his name is Robert Lee is yet another example of just how fascist those “opposed to fascism” are. ESPN claimed that its decision was “made collectively” which, while ironic, does not speak to the issue at hand.

Assuming the report about ESPN’s Robert Lee is factual, the story is still fake. Why so?

Because the actions taken against Robert Lee (the broadcaster) were not only ridiculous and unjust, but also based on a false (i.e., ‘fake’) narrative about Robert E. Lee’s role in the history of America. Apparently unaware that Robert E. Lee was profoundly opposed to slavery, the true racists and fascists “opposed to racism/slavery” base their intolerance and actions against a historical monument on the juvenile notion that Lee fought “on the wrong side of history.”

Apparently they are also unaware that History has no sides.

Even had Lee supported slavery, the removal of his statue still represents a moral affront to history, and to the freedom that emanated from that history in America. Continue reading »

Kathleen Wynne Patrick Brown Fascism

Kevin Flynn, Ontario’s Minister of Labour (Liberal) has made it explicitly clear that his government’s planned minimum wage increase is not about minimum wages at all. The legislation has been designed primarily for the purpose of exercising the Liberal Party’s Marxist philosophy, most popularly (and incorrectly) understood as: “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need…”

“We told our advisors ‘Don’t deal with minimum wage’ because we already have a good handle on that,” Flynn said to interviewer Andrew Lawton on July 10. “The underlying principle is that there are a number of people in our province that are doing very well these days.” (From each according to his ability…)

“The underlying concern is that people in this province are making less than $15 per hour, which we know is below the poverty level.” (…to each according to his need).

So the whole minimum wage debacle is not about minimum wages at all! It’s about socialist wealth redistribution, plain and simple. Straight from the Labour Minister’s mouth.

collectivism vs individual freedom

To fully comprehend that the political Left and Right are polar opposites is also to understand that the two completely opposite ideologies cannot co-exist.

This represents a great frustration to supporters of both the “liberal left” and of the “conservative right.”

Those on the “left” find themselves forced to compromise with the idea that at least “some capitalism” (on the Right) is necessary, for without it, there is little to no wealth for socialists to “re-distribute.” Those on the “right” find themselves forced to compromise with the notion that at least “some socialism” (on the Left) is necessary, for without it, the elderly, sick, and poor would be unable to survive.

Both camps share a common error. To the extent that each is sincere in its desire to address its concerns as stated (which is another matter entirely), the road to both ends (prosperity, security) has been clearly demonstrated to be Right: the environment of freedom and capitalism. Consciousness

The idea that words, which represent concepts about the real world, can be subjectively and variably interpreted is not only false, but exceedingly dangerous. It is a root cause of much of the strife in the world today.

Nowhere can this be seen more clearly than in the world of politics, where the very term “identity politics” has come to mean a concealment or misrepresentation of identity.

Among the words most misunderstood in the political lexicon are those used most often: left, right, conservative, liberal, communism, fascism, capitalism, socialism – to name but a few.

Having never clearly defined these words since they were first used, there has been a massive failure in the ability to identify political ideologies – and their consequences when put into action. The political identity crisis has now been expanded into all fields of human discourse, including sexuality, where it has now become politically acceptable to deny one’s sexual identity and to declare it to be something that it is not. Venezuean bread line

Turns out there’s little difference between a country “going to pot,” and one not allowing free market sales of pot. To prove the point, two seemingly unrelated recent events in two different parts of the world have demonstrated that when it comes to crony politics, state monopolies, and greedy politicians, every country has its share.

In Venezuela, people lined the streets to buy bread from their local private bakeries. Now the bread lines are gone because the bakeries are gone, declared illegal by Venezuela’s socialist government that has chosen to distribute the bread via its state monopoly.

In Canada, people lined the streets to buy cannabis at private dispensaries. Now the lines are gone because the dispensaries are gone, declared illegal by Canada’s crony-influenced government that has chosen to restrict and monopolize cannabis distribution.

To most, Canada’s current “pot sales crisis” naturally pales when compared to Venezuela’s “bread sales crisis.” After all, a shortage of food merits far greater urgency than does a restricted market in cannabis, especially when runaway inflation is part of the crisis. Continue reading »

OBAMAdon’tCARE – If You’re Sick
Does Donald Trump care?

With an “average” increase of 25% in health care insurance premiums slated for Americans under Obamacare next year (2017), the inconvenient truth about Obama’s government imposed health care “insurance” plan is this: Obamacare was a scheme designed for those who care more about votes than about health.

Back in Canada, the folly of state monopoly health care in the province of Ontario is becoming increasingly visible as more and more Ontarians begin to publicly tell their stories about their personal health care experiences within the state imposed system.

Ontario’s once gold-plated “Ontario Health Insurance Plan” (OHIP) is now dysfunctional and stretched beyond serviceable limits. In Ontario today, OHIP has become “O NO HIP Replacements” for months or years on end.

Donald Trump has called Canada’s single payer health care system “a disaster,” and as Canadians living in the heart of socialized health care country, we regret that we must agree with Mr. Trump on this count. Continue reading »
