At a time when the tyranny of the administrative state has taken hold on most Western governments, the great danger in any current attempts to change laws or amend constitutions is that, because law reflects the culture, freedom will continue to be eroded instead of being valued and protected.

“Law is a product of culture,” observes our guest Bruce Pardy, Executive Director of Rights Probe who has recently testified before the National Citizen’s Inquiry. Given the current culture of tyranny, any amendments or changes to current laws or charters would tend to further restrict our rights and freedoms, not defend them.

Numerous failed court challenges to the mandated Covid lockdowns and injections have demonstrated that Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms protects neither rights nor freedom. Without recourse to a legal remedy to a violation of any given right, that right does not exist, warns Pardy.

By describing law as a political language that legitimizes politics, Pardy connects the dots between politics and the values of the culture on which its political policies are founded.

Recognizing that culture precedes politics, calling for a cultural remedy to cure the political disease may seem too abstract and difficult to achieve. But the cure is simple, even if not always quick and easy.

It takes the form of courageously speaking out with a voice of truth until truth becomes a fundamental value of the culture. After all, unless the culture is Just Right, its laws will never be so.

In his recent testimony to the National Citizen’s Inquiry, Bruce Pardy—Executive Director of Rights Probe—made clear that Canadians have allowed their country to devolve into an all-powerful Administrative State.

We have a nation where Parliament delegates to the Executive, the Executive determines what, in their discretion, is best for the good of the country, and the courts defer to the “expertise” of the Executive.

While many might suggest that such an Executive branch is a necessary feature of a modern state we must acknowledge that given such great powers we can also expect our liberties to be in peril.

Says, Bruce, “I do not agree that it is the role of people inside the government to fix social problems. I think the role of government is to tell us what the general rules are that define the relationship between each one of us to the other and between us and the state. If you have those general abstract rules that apply to everybody all the time, then you shouldn’t need the kind of Administrative State we have now. I’m describing what is sometimes called a “Night-watchman State,” a state that is there to keep the peace and to establish the basic principles and then otherwise leaves people alone to make their own way.”

809 – Inappropriately suggestive—the human mind

If the events of the past few years have demonstrated anything, it is how susceptible so many people are to suggestion. It is a phenomenon recently popularized and described by Mattias Desmet as mass formation, which he likened to a form of hypnotism.

This begs a few questions: are those so “hypnotized” unable to exercise their own free will, or do they give it up willingly? By what process are they so affected? How can one stay connected to reality?

One famous individual who understood the nature and effects of hypnotism was the late Peter Reveen, whose magical showmanship demonstrated the power of hypnosis for thousands attending his performances spanning decades.

There’s nothing magical or mystical about hypnotism. But its effect on those willing to be hypnotized is very real, and has therefore understandably attracted the attention of those whose agenda involves controlling others with the least amount of effort. History has clearly demonstrated the suggestive power of propaganda and the psychological operations that governments and covert organizations have unleashed upon an unsuspecting public.

By considering the shocking results provided by studies like the Milgram and the Solomon Asch experiments in the context of today’s dystopian zeitgeist, we can develop a deeper understanding about the power of individual suggestion and how it contributes to the mass psychology of fascism. It all boils down to the power of the human mind – to both create and to destroy.

By focusing our minds in a way that is Just Right, we can resist the flood of inappropriate suggestions calling for an end to free will and the conditions that allow for its exercise.

807 – Trans unreality versus the ultimate binary

Touted as an “International Day of Trans Visibility,” what was recently made visible to the entire world is that the so-called “Trans” community consists of mentally ill political activists utterly disconnected from reality.

Thanks to Chris Elston, otherwise known as “Billboard Chris,” the world was able to directly witness the violent behavior of “Trans-activists” as police, members of the media and the activists themselves, not only denied seeing the assaults, but accused the victims of violence instead of the perpetrators.

Trying to make sense out of visibly irrational behavior leaves many bewildered, frustrated, and even angry. But at the root of the division between those who perceive reality and those who do not lies the ultimate binary: the metaphysical foundation of human thought and thinking.

Philosophically identified as the conflict between the “primacy of consciousness” and the “primacy of existence,” Ayn Rand and Leonard Peikoff described that conflict in terms of how people perceive and understand existence (reality) itself. Continue reading »

The uncivilized and violent behavior of so-called “trans-activists” is a direct consequence of their conflict with reality itself. It’s not the people they attack that they hate; they hate themselves.

Unable to justify their thoughts, feelings or actions, they blame that inability on the reaction of rational individuals to their epistemological dysfunction. They are angry and frustrated because their concepts and definitions do not describe or define anything objective or real.

In terms of “gender identity,” reality dictates that there are only two sexes: male and female. Similarly, in terms of political identity, there are only two polarities: Left and Right.

Accurate definitions are the key to discovering what is real and what is truth. Reality can only be apprehended by using real definitions of real concepts that actually exist in nature – another way of describing reality. Continue reading »

Fear no evil—Exposing the climate change cult | Matthew Wielicki

After having been overshadowed by the COVID campaign of terror, and as we become inured to the horrors of the war in Ukraine, the spectre of climate change is again beginning to come to the fore.

With countries like Canada implementing “Just Transition” legislation designed to put the country on a path of “Net-Zero” carbon dioxide emissions, and the United States refusing life-enhancing pipeline projects like Keystone XL, we are witnessing the destruction of Western civilization and capitalism, a degradation of our living standards, and an elimination of our rights.

Climate change is a religion. It comes complete with a god—Gaia, a hell—boiling oceans, catechism—the Paris Accord, and priests and priestesses—Al Gore and Greta Thunberg.

As with any religion, there is a litany of sins, some minor such as eating meat, and some mortal such as driving more than 15 minutes from your home. And with every sin, there is an appropriate penance, $40 for a pound of ground chuck and carbon taxes on gasoline.

The religion of climate change is based on faith and fear. We must have faith in the wisdom our priests and priestesses and we must fear the coming Armageddon, the retribution of a vengeful Gaia if their words are not heeded.

Thankfully there are plenty of heretics out there to nail some scientific sense to the door of the church of climate change in protest.

Dr. Matthew Wielicki, assistant professor in the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Alabama, arms us with some facts, any one of which would expose the false religion of climate change, but when put together obliterate it and make a laughing stock out of its false prophets.

– CO2 is not a pollutant. It is essential for plant life and more is better.
– We are in the middle of an ice age.
– Ice at the Earth’s poles is not the norm.
– Earth’s changing orbit around the sun is the primary driving force for climate change.
– Man’s contribution to climate change is insignificant.
– One cannot buy one’s way into heaven on Earth by paying a carbon tithe.

And now that we’ve almost milked the religion metaphor to death (and probably offended every Catholic and Protestant reading this) let’s watch Dr. Wielicki show us the way, the truth, and the life we should enjoy once we dispel our unfounded fear of the climate change cult.

799 – Brave new normal | John C. A. Manley

“We have art that we do not die of reality” – Friedrich Nietzsche

Facing one’s fears in a dystopian world requires a kind of courage and bravery that most Canadians have rarely been forced to call upon. In his fiction novel, “Much Ado About Corona – a dystopian love story” our guest John C.A. Manley tells a tale about the emergence of such courage in the midst of an emerging Canadian police state.

Significantly, John’s novel is evidence of the powerful role that art and literature can have in reflecting the “Covid” reality of the world in which we live. Though its plot and characters are fictional, the novel reflects a deep truth about the reality in which Canadians today find themselves, in part thanks to incorporating the narratives and insights of shows like Just Right, which is included among the dozens of references cited in the book.

In helping him expose the “Covidian Lie,” John’s son Jonah has composed and performed a musical commentary of the same name, thereby adding an additional weapon to their arsenal of artistic persuasion.

Cultures are built and identified around the stories, songs, and philosophies that define them, and most such stories tend to blend fact with fiction. The experiences of the fictional characters are representations of real life experiences, while the factual and historical backdrop of the story provides the reality and truth that make the story itself real and true.

When it is said that “life imitates art,” this is a reflection of the powerful role that art plays in shaping our reality. And of course, art similarly imitates life. In times of tyranny, fictional narratives can reveal truths and facts in a way that often escapes the notice of the tyrannical.

“Once you accept (the truth) then you’re able to do something about it,” observes John. “Until you’ve accepted it, you can’t.”

The truth is what breaks through the lies which is why all tyrannies fear truth most of all. The power of fiction lies in the fact that, through fictional narratives, truth can be discovered in a way that is Just Right for those still struggling to see it.
