All lawyers and paralegals play a vital role in Accelerating Culture Shift, one of 5 strategies adopted by the Law Society to address the barriers faced by racialized licensees.

As part of this strategy you are required to create and abide by an individual Statement of Principles that acknowledges your obligation to promote equality, diversity and inclusion generally, and in your behaviour towards colleagues, employees, clients and the public.

This was the direction from the Law Society of Ontario to its membership in 2017. The obvious political ideology at play here offended many Ontario lawyers and some of them banded together to create “StopSOP” (Stop the Statement of Principles).

In April 2019 they fielded a slate of 22 Bencher candidates who stood for election to the society’s Convocation with the entire slate being elected.

Leading the revolt against compelled speech and in favour of non-partisan lawyers were Law Society members Lisa Bildy, StopSOP Campaign Chair and Bruce Pardy professor of law at Queen’s University.

Robert Vaughan interviewed Bruce and Lisa while attending the Society For Academic Freedom and Scholarship’s AGM at Western University in London, Ontario.

A tax on “carbon” is a tax on life. Carbon dioxide is NOT a pollutant, but according to the ruling class, the fact that we – by the very act of breathing – produce it, effectively makes US pollution.

Never mind that carbon dioxide is plant food and is essential to life on this planet, we must pay penance for our very existence to the elites that jet around the world expounding upon the dangers of global cooling, er, global warming, um. . . wait (I’ve got it now): “climate change”.

Join Danielle and Robert as they explore yet another example of “rules for thee and not for me” and the propaganda surrounding the so-called threat of CO2 to the planet.

Copyright or copy-wrong?

Between the European Union Copyright Directive and the latest surge of copyright claims and strikes on Youtube, it seems the concept of fair use has become fairly useless.

In the world of memes and content sampling for independent commentary and tutorials, when is intellectual copyright justifiably applied and when is it weaponized to silence opposing views?

Join Danielle and Robert as they discuss the impact of the concept of intellectual property and monetization on the internet.

The rule of thumb is simple: white man’s culture is bad and must be changed.

Joe Biden, as a white man, finds himself cornered under the new rules of the modern clown world Democratic party. If he wishes to run for president under their banner, he must repent his skin color and gender. He must apologize for the perceived sins of white—aka western—culture. And that’s exactly what he attempted to do during a speech at the Biden (yes, I’m not even kidding) Courage Awards in late March 2019.

Join Danielle and Robert as they discuss what is culture and why “white culture” has value.

Salim Mansur – The Conservative Party Stands Up For Canada

Salim Mansur, Professor Emeritus at Western University and nomination candidate for the Conservative Party of Canada in the Riding of London North Centre explains his reasons for supporting the CPC and why, given the formation of the new People’s Party of Canada under Maxime Bernier, it is the only party which can defeat Justin Trudeau’s Liberals.

Salim, a frequent guest on and contributor to Just Right tackles what he considers to be the divisive and destructive attempt by others to split the Conservative vote once again, as it was done with the Reform and Canadian Alliance Parties, and hand the Liberal Party a win by default. “since the act of confederation in 1867, there are only two parties that have governed Canada, the Conservative Party and the Liberal Party. This is not about to change, and any change that goes to weaken and divide the Conservative Party can and will only benefit the Liberal Party,” says Salim.

We at Just Right Media endorse Salim as a candidate for the Conservative Party of Canada and think that, if elected, he would make a fine parliamentarian. At this point, however, we have not endorsed any particular federal political party.

UPDATE: Since this video was published the Conservative Party has “disallowed” Salim’s candidacy calling him an “Islamophobe.” He has since become the candidate for the People’s Party of Canada under Maxime Bernier. Just Right Media continues to support Salim as a candidate for the PPC and has decided to endorse the People’s Party of Canada in the 2019 federal election.
