What’s being described as a possible post-COVID-19 ‘new normal’ should instead be called ‘the not normal.’

Global vaccine advocate Bill Gates insists that “Normalcy only returns when we’ve largely vaccinated the entire global population.” If so, then normalcy will never return and ‘not normal’ will be a permanent condition under which we will be forced to live.

Despite promises that a vaccine to combat SARS CoV-2 will eventually be developed, there is a growing body of expertise warning that this goal may never be reached. Among them is Doctor Judy Mikovits who works in the field of developing immune therapies: “There is no vaccine currently on the schedule for any RNA virus that works.”

For expressing these and other opinions that do not reflect the official narrative on the pandemic shutdown, many have found their voices being suppressed on social media. For example, YouTube recently removed the video featuring California doctors Erickson and Massihi from its platform, and then later removed the video featuring Dr. Judy Mikovits. Continue reading »

May 8, 2020, marks the 75th anniversary of the Allied victory in Europe — VE Day. In the intervening years between that momentous day in 1945 and today, we have seen changes both for the better and for the worse which nobody could have conceived.

Paramount amongst these changes is the way we have come full-circle from the tyranny of the Axis powers to the situation we find ourselves in today with the measures imposed upon a once-free people, not by outside belligerents but by ourselves.

Professor Emeritus Salim Mansur of Western University explains that underlying all such impositions is a reluctance of our culture to understand and embrace individual freedom.

According to a report by NewsWars (May 6, 2020) “U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres called for global leaders to ‘use the pandemic recovery’ to roll out their global climate change agenda, including allowing fossil fuel companies to collapse and using taxpayer stimulus money to fund green jobs.”

It was inevitable. COVID-19 meets climate change, two issues that have more in common than most expect. Right now, many ‘Green’ activists are in support of the politicians and health care officials who wish to extend the shut down indefinitely and thereafter maintain current state controls and regulations on all aspects of daily living.

With last week’s release of the environmental documentary Planet of the Humans, an interesting philosophical dilemma has surfaced. Produced by Left-wing environmentalists Michael Moore, Jeff Gibbs, and Ozzie Zehner, it should not be surprising that the movie is utterly anti-life and anti-capitalist. But shockingly to those both on the Left and the Right, the documentary presents a brutal and honest account of the environmental destruction wrought by ‘green’ alternate energy initiatives, particularly wind, solar, and biomass.

Given the abject environmental failure of the very initiatives once endorsed by the movie’s producers, they have now changed their tactics, identifying more with the destructive results of the state-imposed COVID-19 shutdown. Continue reading »

Who can we believe? The growing gap between projected cases of COVID-19 in statistical models and the contrary evidence being revealed by daily accumulating data is becoming impossible to ignore.

Similarly, the permanent gap between Left and Right has also become impossible to ignore. Those on the Left want the shutdown to continue indefinitely, since that serves their communist and fascist ideologies of state control, prohibition, and censorship. The COVID-19 shutdown is a Leftist’s wildest dream come true. Those on the Right insist that the shutdowns be ended, claiming that there is no longer a need to do so in light of the fact that all of the fears originally justifying them are no longer an issue.

But more and more, the COVID-19 crisis is looking like a déjà vu of the climate change crisis, the United Nations-led conspiracy to destroy capitalism on a global scale.

Indeed, the very same propaganda tactics and terminology for fighting climate change are now being used for fighting the coronavirus. For example, what were once ‘climate change deniers’ are now ‘coronavirus deniers.’ Continue reading »

According to CBC News (April 15/20), the Canadian federal government let it be known it was open to new laws to fight ‘pandemic misinformation.’

One instance cited was “the misinformation regarding conspiracy theories about what triggered the pandemic – claims that it was cooked up in a lab, for example.” Ironically, the growing evidence and consensus about the SARS CoV-2 virus is that it was indeed engineered in a lab, though theories of how it initially spread vary greatly.

Another example of ‘misinformation’ that the Canadian government wants to fight, are claims that the drug hydroxychloroquine has demonstrated itself to be effective at treating COVID-19. Again ironically, the growing evidence and consensus about hydroxychloroquine is that it is indeed very effective in treating the COVID-19. Continue reading »

US President Donald Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are moving in opposite directions when it comes to ending the COVID-19 shut down.

“This will be the new normal until a vaccine is developed,” Trudeau was quoted saying in an April 11 National Post report. If so, that would mean a minimum of one to three years, given the usual best time in which a vaccine can be developed.

In contrast, Donald Trump says “I want to get it open as soon as we can; we have to get our country open.” With May 1 targeted as his primary re-opening date, Trump has also gone on record saying he would like to see parts of the country open up even sooner than that.

With COVID-19 statistics falling far short of expectations, and looking more like average or lower than average annual flu numbers, government officials in tandem with the medical profession are warning of a second or third wave, having apparently implied that we have already been through the first wave. In dealing with the COVID-19 disease, it seems the most popular prescription has been the establishment of what amounts to a police state. Already, the necessary elements of a police state are firmly in place.

We have seen state-ordered shutdowns of economic activity and social assembly, the establishment of snitch lines, legal prohibitions regarding access to the commons, outrageous and unjust monetary fines and jail sentences for failing to ‘distance’, and propaganda campaigns based on dubious statistics and arguments. To say nothing of the unprecedented degree of government deficit spending.

What’s truly frightening is the delight that many in positions of power (and many in the public) are exhibiting with regard to keeping the shut down going for as long as possible.

That perhaps helps explain why the least popular prescription in dealing with COVID-19 is the prescription of drugs shown to be effective in actually treating the disease. And alarmingly, it’s beginning to look as if public health treatments sought to address the pandemic – like ventilators – may actually be another case of ‘the cure being worse than the disease.’

The grim projections regarding COVID-19 are falling far short of being realized. Yet our politicians persist with their destructive police state policies.

Consequently, we will shortly be facing truly grim projections, less about the still very low COVID-19 numbers, but more about the coming crisis caused by the political destruction of the global economy.

The question on everyone’s mind now is: Will things ever be Just Right again?
