Comments Off on The Epstein effect | The Danielle Metz Show 080

With the ever-increasing divide between Left and Right, it’s heartening to see both sides come together in brotherhood over the Jeffrey Epstein saga. Most on both sides agree that he didn’t kill himself.
It’s not the first time that the public at large has been at odds with pronouncements by officialdom and it won’t be last. The “official” declaration is that he checked himself out with no help from those who would benefit from his departure when there exists a preponderance of evidence suggesting murder.
The case is yet another example of the complete lack of trust the public has for those in charge and those who would like those in charge to stay in charge.

Comments Off on 632 – Cherry pickin’ – Top picks about the Don Cherry controversy
Nov212019
It’s remarkable what such an innocuous phrase as ‘you people‘ can tell us about we people.
The termination of Don Cherry‘s career over his concern – and the way he expressed it – about how so few people in Canada today wear poppies on Remembrance Day was less a story about Cherry than about the growing intolerant mindset of Canadians.
This intolerance is particularly applicable to those obsessed with race, open border immigration, and virtue signalling.
The associative train of thought, along with a complete abandonment of context that was necessary to condemn Cherry as a racist and a xenophobe is both outrageous and irrational. According to the logic, ‘you people’ = ‘immigrant’ = ‘people of color’ = ‘racism and xenophobia’ – and whatever else one may subjectively wish it to mean.Continue reading »
Government control in the field of economics is nothing new to humanity. Central planning, wage and price controls, taxes, stimulus spending, social safety nets, trade restrictions, regulations, crony favoritism – these have all long been assumed to be among the normal and accepted functions of government.
In 17th century France, recognizing that wealth had to be produced before it could be taxed, the king’s (Louis XIV) chief adviser Colbert was told “Laissez-nous faire” (let us alone) after asking the business community what the king could do to stimulate ‘economic growth’ in the nation. That phrase has come to symbolize and describe the nature of a free market.
Indeed, no matter what the form of government – whether an absolute monarchy or a free society based on individual rights – the creation of wealth is fundamental for any society to survive. In the attempt to create such wealth, various forms of forced labor and production have throughout history been the primary means by which the state-controlled economies approached that challenge.
For Western societies, all that changed with the discovery and emergence of capitalism over the past two centuries or so. Under the condition of ‘laissez faire,’ (capitalism), more people than ever before were able to lift themselves out of poverty, thanks to the unprecedented wealth that could be created in a market relatively free from government coercion and control.Continue reading »

Politics may be downstream from culture but culture gets its notions and ideas from academia. If this is so then we are headed for disaster both culturally and politically.
Join Danielle and Robert as they connect the dots from a raving university debating professor who wins his debates by shouting profanities at his opponents to the latest terrible incarnation of Star Trek to the gong show that is the Democratic presidential nomination debates.
While most political and cultural trend lines today are pointing down, to locate the source, the fountainhead, of this frightening trend, look up to the ivory towers… and despair.

Comments Off on 630 – The people’s choice — Or is it?
Nov072019
In choosing our representatives for public office, are the winning candidates in any given election really ‘the people’s choice’? Or do they win for completely different reasons?
The answer to these questions may surprise you.
Many believe that ‘strategic voting‘ is what ultimately decides the winner – where voters are not voting for a particular candidate, but against another. And while it turns out that this is true for a significant number of voters (35%), statistics reveal that many other significant voting patterns are contributing to a final electoral outcome.
Perhaps most surprising is that 57% of voters (according to a Leger poll conducted after the last Canadian election) say that they voted “based on their political convictions, without any thought to their candidates’ chances of winning.” Continue reading »

In the wake of the 2019 Canadian federal election, Danielle and Robert talk about what’s next for the People’s Party of Canada.
Having been defeated at the polls their take is that freedom-loving people have to step up their game and play hard bard against those who would see the country devolve into collective tribalism.

If there’s one thing that we can all learn from the way the last Canadian federal election was conducted, it was that the People’s Party of Canada was the single party most feared by the Left. Indeed, it is Canada’s only party that is not on the Left itself.
What’s more significant is that even after the election – one in which the PPC did not have a single candidate elected, and its leader lost his own parliamentary seat – the PPC obviously still continues to be the party most feared by the Left. The evidence of this can be found in the still continuing public expressions of hatred and fear being levied against the PPC and its leader, Maxime Bernier.
These vile and contemptible accusations – all demonstrably false – originate from the mainstream media, the mainstream political parties, and hateful ‘anti-hate’ groups of the Left like the National Council of Canadian Muslims whose Oct 26 Globe & Mail hateful and libellous commentary is deconstructed and condemned line-by-line on today’s show.
And then there’s Warren Kinsella. Hired by the Conservative Party of Canada to libel and slander Bernier and the PPC, we were already well aware of Kinsella for such antics. He has in past directed similar tactics against our own show, Just Right, and even arbitrarily included Ontario’s party on the Right, the Freedom Party of Ontario, in his first book, Web of Hate.Continue reading »

Comments Off on 628 – Canada’s real pot-heads — Politicians high on regulation
Oct242019
Many people believe that cannabis has been ‘legalized’ in Canada, but this is not so. What has been called ‘legalization’ is really a form of government control over cannabis that makes the previous prohibition pale by comparison.
In effect, the formerly free (though illegal) cannabis market was replaced by an un-free (though legal) market.
Meet Canada’s new and real pot-heads: the crony politicians who have taken over and monopolized the cannabis industry through arbitrary regulation and outright extortion. Led by Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, these newly organized criminals wield the force of law in a way that only serves their own political interests at the expense of everyone else, even those who have never used cannabis.
The outrageous new laws being used to control the cannabis market in Canada only demonstrate that government regulation is oppression, and this is a principle that applies to all enterprises and economic activities controlled by crony politicians.Continue reading »
Comments Off on People’s Party Gatineau media scrum — Behind the scenes
Oct182019
On August 18th Just Right Media was part of the media scrum following the People’s Party of Canada’s veteran’s policy announcement in Gatineau, Quebec.
Marshall McLuhan was wrong – the medium is not the message – the MEDIA is the message and we present this video so our viewers can get a behind the scene’s look at how journalists through both the questions they ask and the questions they DON’T ask, attempt to shape the narrative surrounding this new party.
Not one journalist except for Just Right’s Robert Vaughan asked a question about the new platform plank although Maxime was joined by the writers of the policy at the scrum, veterans all.
Instead, the media asked questions focusing on issues they thought would be controversial, divisive, and cast the People’s Party in a negative light.
Apologies to our French-speaking countrymen but this is the English part of the scrum only. There were no questions in French dealing with the new policy instead, the French language journalists’ questions parroted those of their English colleagues.

It should come as no surprise to our regular listeners that with Canada’s federal election only days away, Just Right Media would fully endorse Maxime Bernier’s People’s Party of Canada (PPC).
“Fighting for freedom is the most important fight that we must do and we are doing that together,” said Bernier at the PPC event held in Hamilton on September 29. “When I (created the PPC), I thought that I would be alone – but I’ll fight for what I believe. And after a month, we had more than 28 thousand founding members and now it’s a growing movement, more than a political party.”
As long as that remains the mission of the PPC, it will continue to have our support and endorsement – even after the election. It’s hard to do otherwise, given that the party’s first platform completely conforms to the principles and ideas expressed on Just Right.
Not only that, but regular Just Right contributor Salim Mansur has become a leading voice within the PPC movement, and its leader, Maxime Bernier, is the only political party leader in Canada who opposes all censorship and supports the right of Canadians to discuss any issues of concern.Continue reading »
Comments Off on Protesting freedom — Proud to be mentally unstable
Oct122019
While we certainly don’t have the video ‘scoop’ of this demonstration we present it here to add to the extensive footage already made public of this protest against free speech.
Taking a break from setting up to record the People’s Party of Canada event Uncensored – The Fight For Free Speech in Canada, Robert Vaughan stepped outside to document the gathering.
Here he narrates what turned out to be the only thing that the media wanted to report on: a gaggle of malcontents and their violent, hateful antics.
The main event, featuring Maxime Bernier, Dave Rubin, Salim Mansur, David Haskell, and Frank Vaughan, was of little interest to the CBC, CTV, or Global News. Instead, they covered this smiling and dancing mob belittling, harassing, and accosting peaceful Canadians who only wanted to hear a talk about freedom of speech.
Once again Canadian journalists sully their profession by focusing on those events which support their political narrative rather than an event that about 1,000 Canadians were willing to pay for and risk injury to attend.

Comments Off on 626 – Uncensored—Freedom of speech and the PPC
Oct102019
It’s hard to ignore the massive crowds attending the People’s Party of Canada (PPC) events across the country, yet the mainstream media does so as a matter of course.
Consider what happened at the September 29 PPC event held at Mohawk College in Hamilton where nearly 1000 people attended to support the PPC’s freedom platform. Most of the mainstream media’s attention was focused on the fascists protesting outside the event. Consumed by their irrational hatred and ignorance, these protesting fascists were never correctly identified by the mainstream media, while their utterly false assertions that the PPC is a ‘racist’ party were allowed to continue unabated and unchallenged.
Canada’s 2019 federal election has reached a new low when it comes to bringing accurate information and the real issues that affect Canadian voters. The main culprit and “enemy of the people” is the mainstream media, which now receives federal subsidies from a corrupt and socialist government.
Silencing the voices of the PPC has become a major effort by the mainstream media and by all of Canada’s other federal political parties, especially the NDP, whose leader, Jagmeet Singh, openly advocated censoring the PPC because of the ‘values’ espoused by the PPC: freedom, responsibility, fairness, and respect. In the mind of Singh and the mainstream media, these ideas and values (which are never explicitly cited by them) are “hateful.”
The mainstream media has been providing a steady stream of fake news, and resorting to misrepresentations, outright censorship, evasion of the facts, and political correctness – all calculated to keep Canadians ignorant and misinformed about their true choices at the polls and what those choices reflect in practice.
With the emergence of the People’s Party of Canada under the leadership of Maxime Bernier, these unconscionable practices of the media and the parties of the Left must be brought to the attention of voters, especially since the PPC now offers them something to vote ‘for’ rather than ‘against’. Currently, the only way to do this is through social media, where audiences can see the unfiltered stark contrast between what the PPC is advocating and what is being reported in their daily print and broadcast media.
Perhaps that’s why one of the key social media outlets invited and openly welcomed at PPC events during this election has been one demonstrated to reliably and objectively report the truth about the PPC: Just Right Media.

The story of Greta Thunberg’s pearl-clutching and condemnations of “how dare you” has overshadowed her message of doom, gloom, and the impending apocalypse.
For her handlers to feed on Greta’s autism is as much a disgrace as the media circus surrounding this 16-year-old’s anxiety — an anxiety created and stoked by politicians whose end game is power, control, and a much poorer existence for humanity.

Comments Off on The word salad | The Danielle Metz Show 074
Oct062019

The Left has a tactic to confuse and distract that is as old as deceit itself. To control the mind one only has to control the words.
Step by step the Left is not only redefining the discourse of society but the very way we think. Changing the term “convicted felons” to “justice-involved individuals” is just a recent example (this one from San Francisco) of how changing the words we use to describe something changes our perception of that thing.
But a rose by any other name would smell as sweet and, so too, a criminal by any other name is still a criminal regardless of the efforts of those would have us think otherwise.

According to a media that has avoided conducting any investigative journalism about her, Greta Thunberg is a leading voice of the global movement to ‘fight climate change.’ But as usual with the mainstream media, this is just another fake story.
The Leftist movement that is using Greta as its propaganda machine is not ‘fighting’ climate change at all, but insists on changing the climate – namely, our social and political climate.
A symbol of the status quo of the Left, Thunberg is backed by the United Nations, Socialist International, George Soros, Bill Gates, and other various corporate, business, political and financial interests who are exploiting her to their advantage.
From exposing Thunberg’s fraudulent story about her rise to fame to describing and explaining the death cult that her ideology and the environmental movement represents, our look at this phenomenon reveals a greater story still.Continue reading »
Sometimes the hypocrisy inherent in a person’s actions can be a cover to hide what he is really being hypocritical about. That’s certainly true when it comes to the crocodile tear ‘apologies’ offered by Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau upon the revelation of a past in which he wore ‘blackface’ as a costume – on at least three known occasions that surfaced in the first week of Canada’s election.
Even though this is a behaviour that Trudeau had in past publicly labelled ‘racist,’ most Canadians are rightly reluctant to label Trudeau a racist solely on the grounds of wearing ‘blackface’ in costume some decades ago. This is ironic, given that it is Trudeau himself who continues to insist that his wearing ‘blackface’ was a racist act and who insists on apologizing for it. But this is mere distraction.
Because the real racism Trudeau should be apologizing for is his use of race to pander to win elections and thus, political power. His strategy is, after all, what objectively defines racism: “the utilization of racial differences, actual or supposed, for political ends.” (Universal World Reference Encyclopedia)Continue reading »
Comments Off on The two-faced, red-faced, brown face | The Danielle Metz Show 073
Sep242019
Audio as broadcast on WBCQ
The many faces of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were revealed recently when photos of him in “brownface” were unearthed from almost 20 years ago. Two-faced because as a progressive he will survive this egregious transgression of the rules the Left devise for everyone but themselves. Red-faced for the mild embarrassment he and his Liberal Party must feel at such a stumble. Brown faced because that’s the “makeup” he put on to pretend he was Aladdin. And blackfaced so he could pretend to be Harry Belafonte singing the Banana Boat Song.
Trudeau, who touts himself as a supremely “woke” individual, took his obligatory apology press junket, but as Canada is in the middle of a federal election, will it be enough? Join Danielle and Robert as they discuss the hypocrisy of the left and the protection of their own in the face of issues that would completely destroy their counterparts on the right.

As the popularized phrase goes, sometimes we tend to be ‘blinded by science’ and draw conclusions that do not concur with scientific principles, or that at least, do not consider the very real risks and consequences of already known scientific principles.
This may be the case concerning optimistic projections concerning proposed space ventures predicted to be underway by the mid-2020s. Two proposals immediately come to mind: the earth-orbiting Von Braun Space Station and planned manned voyages to the planet Mars.
Upon closer examination, it would not be unreasonable to conclude that perhaps we have not considered the gravity of these proposals as they may affect those who would consider such opportunities to venture into space. Indeed, the nature of gravity itself could become one of mankind’s major obstacles concerning fulfilling any dreams of venturing into space.
Gravity is a phenomenon little understood, even though it is a ‘force’ perpetually experienced by all living creatures who inhabit planet Earth. From the direct effects on the human body when not subjected to earth’s full gravitational field, to the very nature of gravity’s role within the structure of the universe, a closer look the gravity of our situation certainly appears to be in order.Continue reading »

Comments Off on 622 – Countering the mass hysteria about mass immigration
Sep122019
In a discussion proposed by People’s Party of Canada (PPC) candidate Dr Salim Mansur, five PPC panelists – Mark Friesen, Frank Vaughan, David Haskell, Laura Lynn Thompson, and Ivan Pak – dare to put their views about mass immigration, Islamism, and globalism on the discussion table for all to hear and consider.
The sheer hysteria on the part of the mainstream media and all of Canada’s other political parties surrounding these issues reveals a truth that is inescapable. They are all on the wrong side (the Left) of these issues and are opposed to what a majority of Canadians think and want.
After hearing the panelists, it is completely understandable why the Left finds itself resorting to utterly ridiculous and false accusations of ‘racism,’ censorship and promoting outright lies about the PPC. They have no other means of countering the integrity of PPC candidates or the truth inherent in the PPC philosophy and platform.
Now that the Canadian election is officially underway, it’s time that our politicians migrated to the issues that are the ones Just Right for Canadians to consider when they go to the polls on October 21.

Comments Off on People’s Party Veterans Policy Announcement – Complete Presentation
Sep082019
During the People’s Party of Canada’s first National Convention the Party chose three Canadian veterans who are running as candidates to reveal the Party’s platform plank on veterans.
Two major initiatives of the plank are:
“Reinstating the fair disability pension as previously provided for by the Pension Act. The pension will apply retroactively to 2006 and lump sum payments received since then will be treated as advance payments”
and
“Reemphasize the legislative guarantee of the “Benefit of doubt” standard under the Pension Act.”
Prior to the announcement Johanne Mennie, Executive Director of the Party called on over 40 veterans to join her at the front of the hall for the announcement.
This is Just Right media’s coverage of the announcement. You will not be able to find as thorough coverage with any other media outlet. We thank the People’s Party of Canada for permission to use their audio for this presentation.

Our focus on the People’s Party of Canada (PPC), begun on last week’s show, gradually expands to a discussion of the broader influence and impact the party may have on the election, as our one-on-one interviews with selected PPC candidates wraps up.
Featured PPC candidates on today’s broadcast are (in order of appearance):
Mark Friesen – Saskatoon-Grasswood Alain Deng – Vancouver South Mike McMullen – London West Rocky Dong – Burnaby North-Seymour Frank Vaughan – Northumberland-Peterborough South
What becomes clear after hearing the sampling of candidates on this and last week’s broadcasts is that none feel restrained in the slightest when it comes to raising the issues that are front and center on their minds.
Assured of their freedom of speech, they know that theirs is a party of principle. They are also aware that in a world of political correctness, no such assurances are possible.
If Canadians are searching for a party that offers them the same assurance, then their search is over. After all, a party of, by, and for the people is not a new idea; it’s Just Right that such a party should be called the People’s Party.

Comments Off on 620 – Free to speak – for the People’s Party
Aug292019
Canadians now have a new option at the polls in the upcoming October 21 federal election: the People’s Party of Canada (PPC), whose founder and leader is Maxime Bernier.
The PPC is a political party whose candidates can freely express many different concerns on a variety of issues – candidates who actually have a voice within their party, unlike most candidates in other parties.
This very freedom within the PPC is just one of the ways that the PPC is ‘doing politics differently,’ and it has already sparked numerous controversies within establishment political circles and media. Remarkably, PPC leader Maxime Bernier has not attempted to silence his candidates but has instead come to their defence.
This is just one of the characteristics that make the PPC unique, and its freedom of speech philosophy has been a major attraction for PPC candidates and supporters alike.Continue reading »
