It is ironic indeed that a political party called the ‘Democratic’ Party should be so fundamentally anti-democratic. It has reached the point where Democrats believe that murder, violence and hatred are completely acceptable in the arena of politics and elections. And they brag about it.
In calling for the assassination of Donald Trump, Democrats and others on the Left (which includes many ‘conservatives’ and RINOs) are demonstrating their utter contempt for the democratic process – and for the majority of Americans. Yet they hypocritically accuse Trump of being ‘a threat to democracy.’
Those on the Right who do not believe in murder and violence as a means to achieve an electoral or political victory must resolve the problem of how to possibly defeat an armed and deadly sociopathic political ideology by peaceful means. This is made all the more difficult because those on the Right are handicapped by their own principles and sense of morality. “They’re eating the cats…” With those words, Donald Trump unleashed a veritable cultural revolution and stole the show that was masquerading as a presidential candidates’ debate. It was a stroke of genius, unrecognized by the vast majority of commentators, bloggers, and podcasters, including many on the Right.
In assessing who ‘won the debate’ held on September 10, very few took the big picture view. Many were impressed by Kamala Harris’ aggressive demeanor as she spewed a torrent of demonstrable lies, while interpreting Trump’s low-key demeanor and his ‘cat comments’ as evidence of Kamala’s victory in the debate.
Given the overwhelming – and continuing – public response to Trump’s declaration that “They’re eating the cats,” there can now be no doubt that Trump was the clear winner of the debate. The world’s attention turned to Springfield Ohio where the problem of mass immigration could be seen on a level understandable to the average person on the street. The term ‘Non Player Character’ (NPC) is widely understood to refer to those characters in a video game who are not controlled by a player, but are pre-programmed automated features of the game. In the world of politics, NPCs are voters who automatically follow the herd, without considering the fundamental principles or issues behind a given election in which they are voting. In other words, most voters.
Also referred to as ‘low information voters,’ NPCs have correctly come to be seen by many as a significant cause of America’s radical drift to the Left. But the problem is not the fact that NPCs exist and participate in the electoral process; it is that they tend to vote Left by default.
For those on the Right, it is tempting to want to correct the voting ‘process’ in the hopes that this will halt or reverse the slide into tyranny. To be sure, having an honest voting process is a positive and necessary objective, but it must never be forgotten that whether we get ‘good’ government or whether we get ‘bad’ government depends on the people and parties we elect.
Complicating matters is the fact that electoral politics by its nature compels the voter to vote for a ‘person,’ not necessarily for an idea, ideology, or policy. That’s why during political campaigns, politicians tend to attack the messengers rather than the messages. For those on the Right, the alliance between Donald Trump and Robert F Kennedy Jr. has produced both a sense of optimism and of foreboding. That such an alliance would even be deemed necessary is a testament to the serious nature of America’s political crisis.
“We are entering very stormy waters,” warns Salim Mansur, who says he is more worried today going forward, particularly given the recent failed assassination attempt against Trump.
His heightened concern is justifiable. Knowing that a Trump-Kennedy alliance terrifies those on the Left, and knowing that the Left does not abide by established civilized principles of democracy, “stormy waters” are indeed ahead.

While the Democratic National Convention was being hailed as an ‘electric’ event by Democrats, the real ‘elect trick’ was being pulled off by Robert F Kennedy Jr and Donald Trump. With Kennedy’s announcement that he would be endorsing Donald Trump in the November elections, whatever wind had gathered behind the Democratic sails was instantly dissipated.
“The DNC manufactured a surge of popularity for Harris based on nothing,” Kennedy announced on August 26. “Who needs a policy when you have Trump to hate?”
While Harris may not have any policies, she and the Democratic Party do nevertheless pursue an ideology based on the politics of envy.

It is a sad fact that the vast majority of people have no idea what either socialism or capitalism actually are. However despite this shortcoming, most have some vague association regarding the moral justification for each.
Generally, most associate socialism with an altruistic philosophy of caring for others, and capitalism with selfishness, greed, and exploitation of others. Both of these viewpoints are false, and both emanate from the ideology of the Left.
Just as most are unaware of the nature of either socialism or capitalism, they also are unaware of the person who was primarily responsible for creating their false conceptions of each: Karl Marx.
Karl Marx was a loser in regard to every aspect of what it means to be human. Politics has earned a negative reputation among the populace, owing not to the nature of politics per se, but to the nature of the majority who are drawn to politics and political office. Regrettably, when it comes to most politicians, they have often been described as being lazy, envious, entitled, and/or incompetent. Most significantly, they oppose capitalism and all that it represents.
That’s because capitalism is an economic condition that naturally arises within a free society. By definition, capitalism is an economic condition under which force, coercion, fraud and theft are prohibited by law, and under which all economic transactions are voluntary. Under capitalism, the government is a referee, not a player on the economic board within its jurisdiction.
The anti-capitalist mentality expresses itself in a number of ways.

To him, this was an injustice, to be corrected by others freely providing him with the basic necessities of life while not having to offer anything in return. When a philosopher has been said to influence everyone from Karl Marx to Thomas Jefferson, it bears taking note, particularly given the polarized political zeitgeist in which we currently find ourselves. One such philosopher was Epicurus (341-270 BC), perhaps best known as an advocate of ‘the simple life’ as the path to happiness.
So naturally, we became ‘epi-curious’ about Epicurus given that the right to the ‘pursuit of happiness’ is a founding principle of a free society. What we discovered was that ‘happiness’ itself is an incredibly polarized concept, a polarization that can also be seen in terms of the political Left and Right. This perhaps partially accounts for the differing narratives and interpretations regarding Epicurus’ history and philosophy.
For example, given the contrast between the motivations of Karl Marx and Thomas Jefferson, it should not be surprising that each interpreted the philosophy of Epicurus in equally contrasting ways. Were Epicurus alive today, how he himself might have viewed their Epicurean narratives is certainly a subject open to discussion.

In the wake of July 2024’s failed assassination attempt against Donald Trump, a brief review of America’s ‘assassination record’ may be in order. Viewed through the lens of history, what alarmingly emerges are numerous parallels between the Trump shooting and the assassination of John F Kennedy back in 1963.
Trump and Kennedy are both ‘outsiders’ says Salim Mansur, who describes the ‘insiders’ as those ‘inside’ the ‘military-industrial-complex.’ So when it is said that the actions taken against the ‘outsiders’ are an ‘inside job,’ it must be understood in this context.
Nor is America’s ‘assassination record’ limited just to Trump and JFK. From the many political figures to the patsy’s blamed for their murders, the list of victims and intended victims again echoes a common refrain: “It’s an inside job.”
What Trump and JFK share in common is the fact that both are outsiders with plans to dismantle the military-industrial-complex. That placed them in direct conflict with the so-called ‘neo-cons’ who, as the voice and “political face” of the military-industrial-complex, argue for the maintenance of perpetual war and conflict, even if it involves the use of nuclear weapons.
Together, the ‘neo-cons’ and the military industrial complex can be loosely identified as the ‘deep state.’ They are “psychopaths with no humanity in their actions” concludes Salim upon observing their actions and history.
In the eyes of the ‘deep state’ Trump‘s singular ‘crime’ was to be an ‘outsider’ competing for the office of president, and who, in the process, exposed the ‘deep state’ to both America and the rest of the world. That is why Trump, America, and the world continue to be in danger as long as the ‘deep state’ is left free to pursue its death cult ideology.
Fortunately, there has been one major and positive development between the time of JFK’s assassination and today.
Unlike conditions in 1963 when the assassination narrative was monopolized by the assassins, thanks to the technology of i-phones and social media in 2024, not only has that monopoly been broken, but alternate narratives pointing towards the truth are now available for the first time. Ironically, in an age of the surveillance state, conditions are now Just Right for the surveillance state to be itself surveilled by those it spies on.

The failed July 13 2024 attempt to assassinate Donald Trump has captured the world’s attention and imagination. Can Trump’s survival be attributed to lady luck or was it divine intervention?
Of course, those disappointed or outraged that Trump survived certainly would not ask such a question. For them, this was a failed attempt to rid the world of a Hitlerian fascist dictator, that fake political caricature created by the fake news media.
Even so, notions of divine intervention were less inspired by the fact that Trump survived an assassination attempt than by the fact that he was shot in the ear. It was Trump’s ear injury that changed the dynamic of the event by providing objective evidence of an assassination attempt that could not easily be denied.
The reality that America came within earshot of its own destruction also served to catapult the event within earshot of the entire world community. Ironically, had Trump not been injured at all, July 13 might never have attained its symbolic status that will now be embedded into American history and lore for years to come.
More than anything else, July 13 was a sobering reminder that we live in one of the most dangerous times in history, afflicted by a ‘deep state’ death cult of the Left that only wants to maintain power and perpetual war.
On the other hand, July 13 was also a refreshing reminder of the power of the internet in an information war never before accessible to individuals and groups outside of the establishment media.
With the realities of history challenging the fake news narratives of years gone by, independent and objective reports on those histories are now surfacing that appear to reflect a current truth about our so-called ‘democracies’ that is unfortunately Just Right: namely, that reprehensible and evil people really control the world.

In the shadow of the Trump assassination attempt, it is important never to forget that that shadow was cast by global events that reveal a growing public opposition to the Left and to globalism. Little has actually changed on the world political stage – other than a speeded awakening of many who were still unaware of the threat to their own lives. For the deep state, the assassination attempt was just business as usual, given its death cult ideology and record.
With opposition to wars raging in the mid-east and Ukraine, with domestic protests and riots occurring in most of the European nations, and with European election results revealing an emerging trend to the Right, the ‘deep state’ has a lot to worry about. It is encountering a powerful rejection of its mission to flood established cultures with unregulated immigration and to establish a one-world globalist state.
Robert Vaughan and Salim Mansur took a look at the recent election results in France, where that country’s unique run-off electoral system exposed some political trends that might otherwise have gone unnoticed in other nations with differing electoral systems.
However, their reference to “the French connection” within the context of the European elections concerned the French connection with Canada, a country that owes much of its history to France, and which also exhibits certain parallel current political trends with France.
Like France, Canada is being threatened by globalism and unregulated immigration. And also like France, hidden within each country’s legitimate immigration history are the millions of ‘new’ French and ‘new’ Canadian citizens who can no longer be separated from the cultures of those nations. As an example, despite Robert and Salim’s own very different historical connections to Canada, they each identify as Canadian in a country that, like France, must attempt to restore its own history in order to preserve the Canadian culture and identity.
While many Western nations have “suicidally crashed their own histories,” France appears to be attempting to recover its French history. In contrast, Canada’s history as a “peace keeping” nation continues to be lost thanks to its support of foreign wars and a lack of leadership in Canada. “Where are the Canadian voices?” laments Salim.
That’s a question that remains to be resolved. If there’s one thing the globalist Left fears most, it’s anything that is Just Right, particularly when it’s the voice of the people speaking out against tyranny.

Following his disastrous performance in his first 2024 Presidential election debate with Donald Trump, one must wonder if Joe Biden is just biding his time until Democrats decide what to do about him. Speculation about the future of Biden’s presidential candidacy is at an all time high, given that so many were still unaware of his condition until the June 28 CNN presidential debate.
As a career politician for decades, Biden would be the perfect poster boy for Donald Trump’s plan to introduce term limits to the American political landscape.
But while most dwell on Biden’s physical and mental condition, it was his political condition that was far more concerning. Biden’s vision of America is a dystopian nightmare of perpetual war and tyranny.
While Trump speaks of a ‘great’ America as a safe place for Americans to live, work, and pursue their own happiness and objectives, Biden’s vision of a ‘great’ America is one of a bully state, bullying other nations to the point of conflict and war. “They don’t want to screw around with us,” said Biden in reference to China and Russia.
For his part, Trump’s debate performance was among his best: disciplined and presidential. Clearly aware of Biden’s incoherence and inability to focus, Trump was placed in the difficult position of having to diplomatically treat his opponent with consideration for his condition.
Perhaps Trump’s best presidential performance in terms of his vision for America took place on July 4, 2020 with his speech delivered in front of Mount Rushmore. Citing the destruction of American history and culture by the Left, Trump delivered a speech to set the record straight, vowing never to be silenced by his opponents.
With Trump’s unparalleled popularity and an agenda that is Just Right for Americans in their time of crisis, whether or not Biden is replaced will have little effect on Trump’s re-election this November.

“The case of Julian Assange symbolizes how bankrupt the West has become,” says Salim Mansur. He also warns that, in the rise of an Anglo-American empire, there can be no republican values.
Translated, that means that individual rights and freedom do not exist in empires and that freedom of speech represents a deadly threat to empires because they are of necessity based on lies.
In referring to the criminal trials of Julian Assange, it must be emphasized that it is the trials themselves that were criminal, not any proven allegations against Julian Assange. His ‘crime’ was to shine a light on the empire of lies.
Among the greatest of those lies were the narratives contrived to justify perpetual war. With an understanding that war depends on lies while peace depends on truth, the necessity of false narratives on the part of the war mongering ‘military industrial complex’ becomes self-evident.
How something as undemocratic as a ‘military industrial complex’ could have arisen within a democracy can partially be explained by learning that the original name of that complex was the ‘Military Industrial Congressional Complex.’ In other words, the democratic component of the complex appears to have been Congress itself, and the word ‘Congressional’ was duly removed to help conceal that association.
The false narratives were spread by what Donald Trump famously coined ‘the fake news media’ while those who revealed true narratives were subject to censorship and political imprisonment. Despite a past Supreme Court ruling that “a free press is intended to serve the governed, not the government,” it is clear that there is no longer a functional Fourth Estate dedicated to that task and responsibility.
Thankfully it appears that the rising influence of social media, combined with the falling influence of mainstream media, is having a positive effect towards creating a better informed citizenry. Independent journalism seems to be an ideal way to re-establish a Fourth Estate that serves the governed in a way that is Just Right.

When it comes to politics, you can never be sure whether to laugh or cry. In a field where the cardinal rule is ‘define or be defined’, defining politics itself can be elusive.
Politics is commonly (though correctly) associated with the state and government. But politics is also played outside of the government arena, as in office politics, business politics, and social politics involving competitions for social status.
Interestingly, most dictionaries do not describe what makes ‘political’ activity distinct from other forms of human activities without referring to state or government.
One distinctive attribute of politics suggests that when something becomes ‘political’ it means that the game is no longer being played on a level playing field. But the unspoken truth about the distinctive nature of politics is that it has become a socially acceptable means of acquiring the unearned. Worse, when it comes to governments, actions otherwise considered unconscionable or criminal are broadly tolerated if carried out for political reasons.
Politics has always operated in a political theatre of epistemology – a war of words calculated to win the support of the public. By controlling populations through the creation of fake definitions, politicians can pursue their real agendas in a manner unseen by most.
No issue could demonstrate the political war of definitions better than the Covid ‘vaccine-bioweapon-gene therapy-plandemic’. Several American states have launched civil actions against Pfizer, based on the fact that Pfizer illegally re-defined terms like ‘vaccine,’ ‘adverse event,’ ‘virus,’ ‘vaccination,’ and ‘infection’ to mean things that those words and terms do not mean. The significance of this is that for vaccine manufacturers using the contrived definitions, immunity from liability will no longer apply.
Thankfully, the war of words is also fought with valid definitions that correspond to the facts. These developments appear to represent a significant step in the Right direction because when it comes to the vaccine industry, it’s the defining issue that’s Just Right.

“Is Europe turning far right?” That question is being asked by many commentators both in social media and in the mainstream media itself. Concluding that the the recent results in the European Union parliamentary elections represent a “conservative Red wave and a move to the Right,” expectations are high that the tide of tyranny is finally reaching an end.
Aside from the inconvenient fact that conservatism is associated with the color blue, and not red, one can never be certain what values most people associate with the Right. The same uncertainty presents itself regarding the association of conservatives, libertarians and Objectivists with the Right. One of the problems with the terms Left and Right is that to most people, these terms are not associated with definitive ideas but simply represent political opposition.
It’s safe to say that virtually all those on the Left are globalists, even if they are unaware of that term. They idealize a ‘nation-less’ world as some kind of utopia, utterly oblivious to the horrifying reality of that idea. Disappointingly (and surprising to some), conservatives, libertarians, and even Objectivists have many representatives and factions promulgating Leftist objectives and ideals, particularly globalism and an end to the sovereignty of nations.
Consequently, you can never be sure whether any of these individuals and groups are on the Left or Right until you understand their specific views and policies as measured against the understood and correct principles of each polarity.
‘Red’ or ‘Blue,’ whether that wave is truly moving in the Right direction is a question that can only be resolved when the wave reaches the shore of national governance.
When the Left constantly berates anything Right as being ‘far,’ ‘extreme,’ or whatever, the objective is to destroy the very concept of being Right. To the extent that they can get enough people to believe that being Just Right is simply not possible, the Left will continue to win the information war even in the midst of a ‘Red wave.’

The belief that Left and Right have become useless labels has been utterly destructive to those on the Right.
Expressing a recognition that conservatives and liberals have become a ‘uni-party,’ many on the Right have falsely operated on the assumption that, for example, Republicans represent the Right and Democrats represent the Left. The sad fact is that, just as ‘Republicans in name only’ (RINOs) are not Republicans, so too many on the right ‘wing’ are ‘Right in name only.’ Or in other words, their ideologies are Left.
How did this misconception of Left and Right arise?
That Republicans and Democrats sit in ‘opposition’ to each other leads most to believe that the split between them is ideological – Left versus Right. But the real ‘split’ is about power, not about ideology. (This principle also applies to parliamentary governments, where there is an ‘official opposition’ yet with little or no ideological difference to the ruling party.) Continue reading »
As our guest earlier this year on February 21, Ches Crosbie stressed that “the (censorship industrial complex) must be eliminated before the truth about ‘vaccine’ injuries reaches enough people and a proper reconciliation can be pursued.” He was then speaking on behalf of Canada’s National Citizens Inquiry and it is now becoming apparent that his was no mere ‘armchair’ observation.
Ches joins us again today to update us on some potentially significant developments, one concerning efforts to pursue a proper reconciliation regarding vaccine injuries and the necessity of compensation for the victims, and the other on countering the censorship complex with new voices of opposition.
“That we are subject to pandemics at all is ‘the’ greatest lie,” asserts the former leader of the official opposition in Newfoundland. While calling for the Canadian government to consider a ‘no fault’ compensation program for victims of vaccine injuries, he additionally asserts that it is more important to have criminal proceedings undertaken against those responsible for the damage. In assessing public support for such action he notes that the public’s “pendulum is swinging and it’s swinging with a lot of force.”
On the free speech front, Ches has announced that beginning on July 1, a new two hour national daily talk show hosted by Randy Taylor will begin on its mission of talking about “true things.” Introduced during a time when the Canadian and US governments have launched all-out attacks against media outlets that offer facts and truth to their audiences, it may prove to be a rather risky and adventurous undertaking.
But when it comes to talking about “true things,” we welcome the prospect of sharing the honor of being Just Right with as many voices as possible.

Socialism is promoted by most of its supporters as a compassionate ‘redistribution’ of wealth, when in fact socialism isn’t compassionate at all. The truly remarkable thing about socialism is that it has a 100% failure rate when it comes to improving the lives of those living under socialism. Yet its popularity persists.
That’s because socialism is a pyramid scheme that appears to benefit the first generation of people who adopt it – at the cost of future generations who receive no benefits but must pay all the costs. Ours is that future generation.
For example, the photo accompanying this post illustrates just one instance of how socialism looks in London Ontario in 2024. Drug addicted and homeless people clutter the streets everywhere. Scenes like this were unthinkable only a few years ago.
The Canadian Press recently reported on the results of a poll in which one third of Canadians approve of Medical Assistance In Dying (MAID) for homeless people. That so many people would approve of killing the homeless is tragic evidence of how deeply the Left’s death cult has taken root. And as we have been learning, MAID is far from being a guarantee of painless death: As observed by Kelsi Sheren in her conversation with Jordan Peterson: “MAID is a terrifying way to die.”
Similarly, socialism is a terrifying way for societies and cultures to die. As an ideological variant of the Left, the ugly truth about socialism is that it is simply another death cult. History has repeatedly demonstrated this and still, in light of this knowledge and experience, millions around the world continue to proudly call themselves socialists.
The antidote to socialism is capitalism, but most fear to acknowledge this because capitalism is Just Right.

In a speech delivered before the Institute Of Public Affairs in Australia, writer and podcaster Brendan O’Neill suggested that ‘lockdown amnesia’ is a consequence of the shame people experienced during the Covid lockdowns.
Based on his observations that many people have completely forgotten some of the most outrageous violations of individual rights and freedoms perpetrated by governments during the Covid lockdowns – including the lockdowns themselves – O’Neill contends that “the state is complicit in cultivating this culture of forgetting.”
His view is reminiscent of Ches Crosbie‘s (of Canada’s National Citizens Inquiry) call to end the “censorship industrial complex” that he identified as also being complicit in cultivating a culture of fear and ignorance. “It must be eliminated before the truth reaches enough people and a proper reconciliation can be pursued.”
The censorship industrial complex is indeed ‘complex’ and can be said to include the ‘amnesia industry’ and the intentional manipulation of memory.
But one must wonder how much of the impetus ‘to forget’ is actually driven by shame or how much is driven by the fear of being held accountable. Either way, it appears that a great reckoning is on the horizon.
As more and more of the destructive and negative consequences of everything to do with the lockdowns become impossible to ignore and avoid, attempting to erase the causal history behind all of the destruction appears to be a viable backup strategy to keep a significant part of the public in the dark.
“It is an abomination to forget what happened,” warns O’Neill, “It is essential to remember to protect ourselves from the possibility it will happen again in the future.”
Perhaps the most chilling aspect of the entire ‘culture of forgetting’ is the number of people who have forgotten what is Just Right, and in so doing, have just Left themselves to be manipulated by those who would destroy them.

In their attempt to dismiss or ignore narratives and truths that conflict with the ideology of the Left, the term ‘far right’ has been used as a pejorative to silence the opposition.
‘Far right’ is an anti-concept. It is based on a fictional political spectrum that simply does not exist, either in theory or in practice. Left and Right do not exist on either end of a ‘spectrum’ but are strictly polarities representing the opposing political conditions of tyranny (on the Left) and freedom (on the Right).
‘Far right’ implies that there are other types or ‘degrees’ of Right. However, the values represented by the political polarities of Left and Right do not exist in ‘degree’ but only in ‘kind’. There is no ‘middle of the road’ and any compromise between Left and Right can only benefit the Left, as the Right (the good) has nothing to gain from the Left (the evil) in such a compromise. This has been the political trend for many decades.
In the information war, as in any war, it’s “Define or ‘be’ defined.” Unfortunately, those on the Right (meaning those in favor of freedom and capitalism) have come to lack both the vocabulary and proper definitions to articulate their values, and this was not by accident or omission. Conservatism is being promoted as a Christian political philosophy that should be applied to the governing of a country. That, at least, was the expressed opinion of David Haskell (Wilfred Laurier University) during his recent debate with Bruce Pardy (Queen’s Law).
Sponsored by Augustine College and First Freedoms Foundation, the 2024 Rand Debate (named after Canadian Supreme Court Justice Ivan Rand), was based on the following resolution: “Be it resolved that, as Wokeism destroys the West, the first responsibility of government is to foster a virtuous society, rather than protect individual liberty.”
In addition to the resolution itself being based on a contradiction (pitting “virtue” against “liberty” when in fact they are inseparable), the debate serves as an ideal exhibit of what we have been referring to as the “political dyslexia” persistently surrounding political debates and discussions.
Most disturbing is the Christian ‘virtue signaling’ now literally being advocated as a political response to the politics of WOKE virtue signaling.
David Haskell argues that through the power of the state, “conservatism as guided by the Judeo-Christian tradition is going to make choices you don’t agree with, especially if you’re not a religious believer.” Bruce Pardy, in response, notes that “this is why so many progressives think that conservatives are dangerous.”
Given Haskell’s subjective definitions of words like ‘liberal’, ‘virtue’, ‘equality’, ‘utilitarian’, and many others including ‘conservatism’ itself, Haskell and Pardy could never have arrived at anything resembling agreement. This creates a deep and unnecessary divide between those fighting for ‘liberty’ and those fighting for ‘conservatism’ in their mutual war against ‘Wokeism.’
Until more people who regard themselves as ‘conservatives’ begin to use definitions that are Just Right, their proposed solutions for defeating the WOKE ideology, let alone for achieving freedom, will always be just wrong and ineffective.

The disdain and revulsion that many people have developed for politics is understandable. But a growing danger emanating from this attitude is the inability to conceive of any political solutions to our freedom dilemma, and to withdraw from the political process entirely.
This is particularly tragic for those on the political Right – the polarity of individualism, freedom, and capitalism – because most people who believe in these values have demonstrated little interest in politics. And to the extent that they do participate in the political process, they more often than not continue to support and vote for parties and candidates opposed to their values.
Most voters are so confused about politics that they still cannot tell Left from Right, a condition perhaps best described as political dyslexia.
In fact, the prevailing myth is that there is no difference between Left and Right, based on the mistaken assumption that political parties like Canada’s Conservative Party and America’s Republican Party are on the ‘Right’ when they are actually as Leftist as their liberal and democratic counterparts.
Consider the political awakening of Rosanne Barr who, in a recent discussion with Russell Brand, described her 2012 candidacy for president as leader of the Green Party as “socialist.” Remarkably, she associated “freedom of speech, civil rights, self improvement through education, and individual rights” with socialism and the Left. Atheist Richard Dawkins recently sparked a controversy that challenges fundamental assumptions about both atheism and faith-based belief. Referring to himself as a “cultural Christian” he has been criticized by both atheists and religious believers alike.
Unfortunately, too many self-described atheists are being unfairly criticized and maligned by those who, on the one side, equate atheism with an absence of morality, while on the other equate the sharing of some religious beliefs with unprincipled atheism.
One dictionary we consulted incorrectly defines ‘atheism’ as “the belief that there is no god.” The problem with this definition is that atheism is not a ‘belief’ system at all. Nor is atheism a philosophy or code of morality. It is merely the non-acceptance or a rejection of the concept of a literal supernatural ‘deity’ – nothing else. Atheism does not require ‘belief’ as its base of justification. Atheism is primarily a response to theism, which does rely on ‘faith’ and ‘belief.’
The fact that many atheists abide by a moral code that mirrors that associated with Christianity is less about atheists borrowing from Christian values than it is about Christians and atheists alike borrowing values from other shared philosophical sources. This includes many writers and philosophers throughout history setting out the principles of Western culture over time – from the early Greeks through the Age of Enlightenment and to the present day.
Those who blame atheism as being the source of our current tyrannical zeitgeist – or who blame the Soviet Union’s past tyrannical history on its ‘officially atheist status’ are arguing a contradiction. One cannot judge any individual or national actions on what is ‘not’ believed and practiced but on what ‘is’ believed and practiced. In both cases, the cause of the tyranny was (and is) the ideology of collectivism.
Today’s WOKE ideology is merely the latest label given to yesterday’s Marxist ideology – and religious affiliation or lack thereof has little to do with the support of such ideologies. The same principle holds true for freedom.
Whether atheist or religious, if one accepts and respects the principles of individualism, individual rights and freedom, then it is possible for people of every belief and non-belief to share the ideals and blessings of a society that’s Just Right, with the understanding that freedom of religion also includes the right to be free from religion.

There has recently been a growing concern and much discussion about why so many people are still not awake, but just remain WOKE in the face of a pending civilizational collapse. “The WOKE mind virus is the greatest existential threat faced by humanity,” concludes Gad Saad, and Elon Musk apparently shares his alarm.
Among other causes cited for this sad state of affairs are the inability to have an inner monologue, the effect of the Covid spike protein, fear mongering, bacteria, chronic infection, the fake news media, intelligence guided by irrational bias, and of course the WOKE ideology, to name but a few.
Missing from most of the discussions is the ‘means’ by which people actually think: through the use of concepts and language. Because the human mind is essentially ‘programmable,’ and because words and concepts are the ‘software’ on which each mind functions, humans in the exercise of free will have the capacity and choice to think and behave either rationally or irrationally.

“There will be no peace in Israel’s foreseeable future” predicts our guest Jacob Peretz.
His pessimism is based not only on current events or on the history of the region, but also on personal experience. His regret over saving the life of a wounded Egyptian soldier during the Yom Kippur war speaks to a growing sense of hopelessness regarding any prospects of peace or brotherhood between Jews and those who relentlessly disparage and attack them.
In speculating beyond the “foreseeable” future, Jacob notes that there are forty-eight Arab states in the United Nations, states that do not have any interest in pursuing peace with Israel. In making this observation, he has also identified the fundamental evil nature of the United Nations, which was described by Ayn Rand many decades ago (and not in reference to Israel):
“There is no margin of error about a monstrosity that was created for the alleged purpose of preventing wars by uniting the world against any aggressor, but proceeded to unite it against any victim of aggression.
“Who but a concrete-bound epistemological savage could have expected any other results from such an ‘experiment in collaboration’? What would you expect from a crime fighting committee whose board of directors included the leading gangsters of the community?”
What we need is not a “United Nations,” but an international organization of “United Democratic Nations,” suggests Jacob, and until such a body emerges, any organization with members opposed to freedom and democracy can only be a threat to peace, not a vehicle for peace.
Meanwhile, as the global debate continues to rage, Israel’s military efforts continue to escalate – demonstrating that predictions of “no peace in the foreseeable future” are proving to be Just Right, as tragic as that reality may be.

In his March 4 essay entitled Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus* – The Chronicle of Zionist lies and their implosion foreseen, Salim Mansur concludes that the Balfour Declaration which created the state of Israel has no legal standing.
Given Israel’s current military actions in Palestine and the recent International Court of Justice‘s (ICJ) provisional judgement finding it “plausible” that Israel is violating the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, events suggest that Israel’s “false history” is rapidly catching up with its present.
That history includes the publication of Theodor Herzl‘s book, ‘The Jewish State’ with its “plan” for Zionism, how the Balfour Declaration was implemented, the suppression of the King-Crane Commission report, the Alfred Dreyfus case and the controversial opinions of figures like Edwin Montagu.
When Salim suggests that “a settlement will come within the context of a false history,” he is not solely referring to any possible ‘court’ settlements regarding the state of Israel, but to the inevitable continuum of history. Although various historical narratives are often shown to be false, actual historical events themselves nevertheless unfold on the reality of the past, not on the political fictions. “It’s karma.”
Even when not recognized as such, the reality of truth exerts its own deterministic force against intentions and efforts to hide truths that, given enough time, eventually surface. Since the study of history is a discipline dealing with related events through passages of time, an accurate history becomes an indispensable necessity in establishing any understanding of the present.
Global pressures and public opinion against Israel continue to build, and now even include Donald Trump‘s cautionary warning to wrap up its mission in Palestine. Whether or not Israel maintains (or perhaps improves) its status and international respect as a state is unpredictable. But a “settlement will come” and it will be interesting to see if that settlement proves to be one that is Just Right – irrespective of any false histories.

“In politics, perception is reality, the truth doesn’t matter.”
Given the broad acceptance of this view of politics, it should not be surprising that so many good people see politics as an evil. They thus avoid getting involved in a process that affects everyone’s life whether they are interested in politics or not.
But this viewpoint is itself a form of political propaganda because in reality the truth does indeed matter in politics, so much so that political interests which are not aligned with truth go to such great lengths to hide and/or misrepresent the truth. Those political views are broadly identified as coming from the Left, which represents many variants of collectivism.
For those on the Right (which represents individualism, freedom, and capitalism), the current state of politics has become so irrational and beyond understanding that it is almost impossible to accept that the tyranny we are experiencing is real. “Everything is upside down or totally backwards,” has become a familiar refrain expressing this frustration and disbelief.
To understand the madness of the political Left, it is necessary to know how those on the Left think. One of the most difficult concepts to grasp is that those on the Left are strictly ideological, not philosophical. Ideology originates strictly in the mind, unconcerned with the facts of reality. A working philosophy on the other hand, is disciplined by the facts of reality.
In philosophy, these two opposing ways of thinking are contrasted as the ‘primacy of consciousness’ (in which reality is not perceived by consciousness but is created by consciousness) and the ‘primacy of existence’ (in which reality exists irrespective of anyone’s consciousness).
In politics, it is the Left that relies on ideology, while the Right relies on philosophical principles.
Consequently, this conflict between Left and Right manifests itself in a battle of definitions and concepts, ranging from the definition of freedom to the definition of democracy. While those on the Left are obsessed with “defending democracy,” many on the Right insist that freedom is the primary value to be defended.
While freedom is indeed the primary value, the surprising truth is that freedom and democracy go hand-in-hand.
Unfortunately, even when the truth is told, most people cannot recognize it or distinguish it from all of the false perceptions about politics. To be understood in a light that is Just Right, truth must be discerned; it requires a process of thought and discipline that too few understand: philosophy.
