851 – Political atheism—the loss of faith in democracy

Could you be a ‘political atheist’ without even knowing it?

Political atheists are those who have either completely lost their faith in what they believed to be the democratic system, or never had such faith in the first place. Unfortunately, most of these people tend to be found on the Right.

Unlike those on the Left who remain eternally and consistently politically active and therefore monopolize the electoral process, too many on the Right remain uninvolved in any meaningful political process. They may vote during elections from time to time, but even then, they end up voting for candidates of the Left – the Leftist they consider to be the ‘lesser of a given number of evils.’ Even when a true identifiable freedom candidate of the Right is on the ballot, most ‘right-wingers’ still vote Left: “He’ll never get elected.”

And then there are those who never vote or never participate in politics whatsoever. Taken together, these voters and non-voters alike can be considered to be ‘political atheists’ in that they really have no faith in the possibility that anything positive can result from politics. Given the zeitgeist of the day, this is an understandable, though false, belief.

The one reality about politics that no one can escape is the fact that even if you’re not interested in politics, politics is always interested in you. Those who regard themselves as ‘apolitical’ are in fact no less political than any political zealot. Being ‘apolitical’ is just another political ideology. Continue reading »

850 – The spoken to—Censorship’s true target

Once again, Canada’s politicians are on the ‘banning hate speech’ bandwagon, this time in the guise of a piece of legislation being introduced into parliament as Bill C-63.

The proposals contained in Bill C-63 are so bizarre and outrageous that most would dismiss them outright. Like something out of a science-fiction horror fantasy, the bill allows the government to convict, fine, and imprison ‘for life’ people who have not committed any speech offense, but who may do so in the future. Seriously.

How are such people to be identified? Through a ‘complaint’ system in which the identity of the complainant is kept a secret. The complainant can be anyone. As explained by Ezra Levant, “a person may lay an information if he fears that another person will commit a speech offense in the future.” And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of Bill C-63’s unconscionable and immoral proposals.

But more frightening than the contents of the bill itself are the people who would even allow themselves to entertain such evil. Former Heritage Minister Steven Guilbeault, who drafted the law, has announced that the government also has a “nuclear option” by being able to make it impossible to access any specific website in the country.

The Trudeau government’s obsession with regulating and censoring the internet suggests that he and his government greatly fear the truth. Truth is, after all, what is being eliminated from any allowable public discussion.

The real immorality of censorship is not just in the fact that it violates the fundamental right of someone to speak freely (which it does) but also because it violates the fundamental rights of those who wish to hear and listen freely. Censorship is less about the speaker than it is about the ‘spoken to’. The speaker is already in possession of the truth; the ‘spoken to’ may not be aware of the truth, and that’s how the politicians of the Left want to keep it.

Given that the Left is always unable to defend its ideology on intellectual or moral grounds, censorship is a great way to avoid that responsibility: “When persuasion fails, just use force.” Censorship is the perfect weapon of violence for those consumed with irrational hatreds that they do not wish to have exposed.

This should not be surprising because when it comes to ‘hate,’ the Left hates individualism, freedom, free speech, private property rights, justice, capitalism, and anybody or anything that is Just Right.

849 – Applied philosophy—the practicality of freedom

Comments Off on 849 – Applied philosophy—the practicality of freedom
Feb 282024

In their struggle against tyranny, many dismiss ‘philosophy’ while calling for ‘practical’ solutions to a condition that is wholly the consequence of ideas – and ideology. Given that the predominant zeitgeist of today’s culture is primarily on the Left, it should not be surprising that the field of philosophy has been largely discredited and dismissed as a failed subjective approach to the problems and challenges of life. However, this is a tragic error.

Reality dictates that one cannot possibly separate the philosophical from the practical without encountering a contradiction. If the ‘theory’ does not match the ‘practice’ then the ‘theory’ is no longer valid and cannot be regarded as such. The proper response is not to dismiss all ‘theory’ out of hand, but to formulate a theory that does indeed match the practice.

In the fields of ethics and politics, ‘theory’ is often equated with ‘philosophy’ or ‘ideology.’ Each of these terms is properly associated with modes of thinking that lead to certain intended outcomes or results.

So why do so many applied ‘theories’ fail to result in their intended outcomes? For a simple reason: the ‘theories’ are based on a mode of thinking philosophically referred to as the “primacy of consciousness” which stands in direct opposition to the “primacy of existence.” Continue reading »

848 – Witness to betrayal—the National Citizens Inquiry | Ches Crosbie

As victims of COVID-19 government policies, each of the witnesses who testified before Canada’s National Citizens Inquiry (NCI) shared their own unique experience and personal tragic consequences. But what they all truly witnessed in common was the official betrayal of Canadians on a scale once thought to be unimaginable.

Released on November 28, 2023, the final report of the NCI’s Inquiry into the Appropriateness and Efficacy of the COVID-19 Response in Canada permanently places on the record the Canadian government’s intentional misinformation and disinformation campaigns about the COVID-19 pandemic. What is undeniably clear is that Canadians were betrayed by all of their institutions and politicians.

As our guest Ches Crosbie notes, the “censorship industrial complex” must be eliminated before the truth reaches enough people and a proper reconciliation can be pursued. And significantly, the testimonies and information found in the final report can serve as a resource for other betrayed victims who have yet to seek some kind of justice. It is a treasure trove of information for litigation purposes.

Given that the truth is now visible to anyone who cares to look, a call for reconciliation appears to be the next step in the direction that is Just Right.

847 – Rules of the game—of definitions

A Jan 26 2024 provisional judgement finding it “plausible” that Israel is violating the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide has unleashed yet another epistemological conflict in which the two sides of the debate have been polarized over the valid definition of a concept, in this case, the word “genocide.”

Rendered by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the judgement was made in response to an application filed against Israel by South Africa. Though the definition of “genocide” used by the ICJ is far broader and, to the minds of many, invalid relative to its long accepted “dictionary” definition, this objection fails to recognize the “rules of the game” that were accepted by each of its players long before the first move was made.

“It happens. That’s politics,” explains our guest Salim Mansur in describing the apparent injustice and unequal application of the rules to differing players in the game. As America and other nations escape judgment, Israel appears to be unduly targeted for “genocidal” activities no different from those nations with “veto” power.

In light of the fact that each of the governments involved are signatories to the conditions and definitions being adjudicated, it is important to understand the rules of the definition game in which they are engaged, before attempting to apply definitions and standards proven to be Just Right for most of us not playing games.

846 – United Freedom Party of Alberta—neither united nor free

Comments Off on 846 – United Freedom Party of Alberta—neither united nor free
Feb 072024

Due to the emergence of an officially registered party in Alberta called the United Freedom Party (UFP), we find ourselves forced to conduct some damage control given our own association with Ontario’s officially registered Freedom Party. The two parties have literally nothing in common.

Organizers of the UFP, Luke Denis and Chris Hampton, have described themselves as “extreme right wing Christian conservatives,” whose key agenda includes the advancement of anarchy, libertarianism and the socialistic redistribution of wealth. Citing the “fifth greater re-set event being held right now, from the libertarian sector and the yellow and black anarchist types,” they attribute the current functionality of society on “some kind of magic hootenanny.” Seriously.

Unable to offer an objective definition of political freedom, the UFP organizers suggest that freedom is “the ability to do whatever one wants, so long as it does not ‘harm’ other individuals or the environment.” Among the ‘harms’ it includes in this definition is, for example, the inability or failure of a private road contractor to meet the financial or construction obligations of its contracted agreements. They appear to be unaware that using the so-called ‘harm’ argument to justify restricting freedom was the very ground on which everything from covid injections to wearing masks to mandated lockdowns was justified.

For the most part, the UFP’s perspective on politics and the economy is incoherent, contradictory, and so bizarrely oblivious to any kind of consistency or civilized standard that it is difficult to comprehend what kind of people would support such madness. The principle of justice, due process, or consent is nowhere to be found in their rhetoric. “We don’t need their bloody permission” they say of their fellow Albertans.

At one point it was suggested that Bill Gates should have been “murdered and ripped apart on stage.” They see people like Tucker Carlson and Douglas Murray as mostly “controlled opposition.”

Among the UFP’s bizarrely contradictory and anti-freedom proposals are the following:

The UFP would institute an across-the-board 3% resource tax and provide all Albertans with cheques drawn upon that account “because these are natural resources that we should share.”

In a pure Joe Biden open border policy, the party would “flood the province of Alberta with millions of people from outside the province (doubling Alberta’s population) who would theoretically support and vote for “unity” and “solidarity” though no means of vetting such people was deemed necessary. At the same time the party would expel all current Albertans who disagree with the party’s policies: “Get the ‘f’ out.”

On the democratic front, there is simply no way to reconcile or make sense of the party’s utterly contradictory and illogical proposals. On the one hand they would “remove the power of politicians” to legislate, and would “end the voting process after the UFP is voted into power.” On the other hand, they would encourage people to “vote more furiously in all the time honored ways of voting.” The UFP would also be in favor of “forming a new country” in the province of Alberta and within other jurisdictions around the world.

While they pay lip service to “private education” they claim the right to “educate the sheep” and “if you don’t like it get the ‘f’ out.”

And all this is just the tip of the iceberg of the UFP’s irrationality.

Claiming that ‘unity’ and ‘solidarity’ are their central concerns, one must question the motives of a party that would register in a province where there are already a myriad of conservative splinter groups with those same objectives, including Artur Pawlowski’s political party which had already successfully registered candidates in all of Alberta’s ridings.

Given the utter irrationality and contradictory statements made by the UFP, it’s beginning to look like the only way to define Alberta’s UFP in a way that’s Just Right is as some kind of psyop designed to disrupt and destroy any opposition to the existing regime.

845 – Politics is simple—it’s just not easy

Comments Off on 845 – Politics is simple—it’s just not easy
Feb 012024

The spectacle of thousands of political protesters gathering to “fight tyranny” without having a clue as to how this might be done can only lead to continued tyranny ahead. Though accomplished and expert in their own fields of discipline – whether medicine, law, education, journalism, etc. – most of the leading voices in the “freedom movement” are clueless when it comes to the politics of freedom.

It’s one thing to be able to identify the political condition (tyranny) you’re running ‘from,’ it is quite another to identify the political condition (freedom) you must move ‘towards.’ Calls for ‘unity’ or ‘solidarity’ or for ‘political separation,’ or for ‘creating a republic’ or for ‘changing the electoral system’ are not calls for establishing a free society. They are desperate aimless propositions that amount to a clear admission that the protesters really don’t know what must be done.

This is completely understandable. Most people pay no attention to politics until it is too late. Fortunately, one group that has discovered the fundamental principles necessary to the advancement of individual freedom is the Freedom Party of Ontario, established on January 1, 1984.

A brief review of the party’s myriad of successes in changing and affecting the laws of Ontario makes two things clear: (1) that winning individual battles against the deep state and the political parties of the day is doable, if one employs the proper principles and tactics, and (2) that Canada’s tyranny today is no different than it has been for the past half century and longer. In every respect, municipal, federal and provincial governments in Canada were as abusive of their power and authority in the 1980s as they are today.

Protesting against tyranny and oppression certainly has some limited value. But preventing the next wave of tyranny and oppression demands a political discipline currently not seen in the political arena – one ‘for’ freedom, not merely ‘against’ the latest manifestations of state injustice.

The war for freedom can only be won by those who understand and act on the singular set of freedom based principles that are Just Right.

844 – The empire strikes out | Salim Mansur

“A republic, if you can keep it.” Benjamin Franklin’s famous response (Sept 1787) to Elizabeth Willing Powel’s question: “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” was as much a warning as it was a description of an ideal America as a state in which the sovereignty resides in the people and the legislative and administrative powers are lodged in officers elected by them.

It is now 2024 and the republic to which he referred no longer exists. Were he alive today Franklin might be tempted to respond with “An empire – if you can defeat it” as the means of both defining the nation and of recovering its republican status.

Our guest Salim Mansur argues that America’s descent from a free republic to a coercive empire was accelerated and completed during the period between the election of Woodrow Wilson in 1912 and the installation of Joe Biden in 2020. “We are now in a post-constitutional America,” he says.

America’s republican status was dismantled thanks to the imposition of the federal income tax, the 17th amendment which “democratized” the election of senators, the establishment of the federal reserve (1913) and other legislation making “America now the world’s biggest threat to individual rights.”

As an empire, America suffers from the “disease of the empire” which Salim describes as a nullification of freedom at home and the coercion of people abroad. Ultimately all empires are little more than military rule.

Despite all of this corruption and power, the good news is that the vast majority of “we the people” has begun to see America and its global empire for what it has become. With world-wide protests and demonstrations against their own politicians, to say nothing of the unprecedented popularity of Donald Trump, the rulers of the empire are beginning to be uncomfortably aware that their empire may soon be struck out.

For that reason, we are in “uncharted waters” when it comes to predicting what the empire’s elites may do to strike back in their state of desperation. It looks like 2024 will be the decisive year in which Americans will choose between living in an empire or in a constitutional republic. So far it looks like they’ll choose to do what is Just Right by striking out an empire and choosing to keep a republic as their home’s base.

843 – The missionary position—on sex, politics, and religion

Comments Off on 843 – The missionary position—on sex, politics, and religion
Jan 182024

“We’re far more divided than we thought – between people who see freedom as God defines it and those who see freedom as they define it.” So declared one Christian spokesman regarding the current “freedom alliance” on the Right.

Surprisingly, his concern was primarily based on differing sexual attitudes and lifestyles: “God created marriage for one man and one woman, for life, and any sex outside of that is a sin and against nature.”

While this choice of lifestyle is perfectly legitimate for those who choose to adopt it, turning it in to a point of division between those who differ is tragically self-defeating. It is as if to argue that no political alliance is possible unless everyone in that alliance uses the missionary position. This is a complete non sequitur in the greater war on tyranny, where the only consensus required for alliance is the acceptance of individual freedom.

Different attitudes on sexuality are unnecessarily divisive when brought into any political sphere or arena. By sexuality in this context we mean disagreements over consentual lifestyle choices, not on the tyranny of gender politics.

Thanks to gender identity politics, sexuality has become yet another area of disagreement and division. But gender politics is not about sex or about sexuality. It is about creating division and conflict in the political arena.

It’s unfortunate that some in the religious community are using their own personal sexual beliefs to create further division. Complete unanimity between differing religious groups, faiths and those who profess no specific religious views is not a necessity in the broader war against the current tyranny.

The current “freedom alliance” need not be threatened from within. All it takes to keep it intact is a consensus of freedom that is Just Right for everyone.

“When you’re dead, you don’t know you’re dead. The pain is felt by others. The same thing happens when you’re stupid.” And to explicitly conclude the thought of that popular meme: “When you’re stupid and you don’t know it, the pain is felt by others.”

The truth of that statement strikes at the heart of what was experienced in Nazi Germany, thanks to the seemingly willing support that so many German people gave to Hitler. Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German Lutheran pastor theologian and anti-Nazi dissident, believed that this was a not a consequence of malice, but of widespread stupidity.

While in a German prison during the Hitler years, he formulated a theory arguing that we must seek to understand the nature of stupidity as stupidity is not an intellectual defect, but a moral one. Stupidity, therefore, is a much more dangerous enemy than malice because one can expose malice and argue against it and even use force to stop it, but this is not possible when dealing with stupidity.

One has but to look at all of the utterly stupid ideas and causes (and quite demonstrably so) being supported in today’s zeitgeist. From Covid to climate change, these stupid fictions continue to be believed by a significant number of people who, as a result, become a danger not only to others but to themselves as well. But having chosen to be stupid, they are oblivious to this reality.

Moreover, this phenomenon of stupidity, observed Bonhoeffer, is most predominant among people living in groups and collectives, and very rare in independent individuals or those who generally live alone. This suggests a strong psychological force at play, and goes a long way towards explaining why the collectivist Left (communism/socialism/fascism) promotes so many genuinely stupid and immoral ideas, policies and ideologies.

Upon a review of the evidence, it would appear that Bonhoeffer’s theory that stupidity is a moral defect turns out to be Just Right.

Sometimes our philosophical assumptions and beliefs can be challenged by the most unexpected and seemingly trivial events. To illustrate this, we offer a remarkable true story about a lowly housefly named ‘Myfly’ and what it tells us about human nature.

The story has encouraged us to re-examine some long accepted philosophical principles, like the one that postulates that truth is that which reflects and corresponds to reality. But is that really ‘true’? Might it be possible for something to be true, but not necessarily real? Is there a distinction between the ‘real’ and ‘reality’? These are but a few of the questions considered in our first presentation of 2024,and we hope and trust that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Given all of the dire predictions and expectations for this new year, being able to distinguish between narratives that are true or false becomes all the more urgent and necessary. The science devoted to the discovery of the proper methods of acquiring and validating knowledge is known as epistemology.

In both politics and war the first rule is to define or be defined and in so doing, control the narrative. Through the application of valid epistemological principles. false narratives can easily be identified and discredited without having to resort to censorship and other means of speech restrictions.

If it is true that the narrative is all, then clearly those on the Right must endeavour to spread those narratives known to be Just Right.

The Oct 7th, 2023 atrocities committed on Israeli civilians by Gaza’s Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) prompted widespread expression of sympathy towards the people of Israel. However, as Israel responded to this act of terrorism to bring Hamas and its supporters to justice, the narrative quickly shifted to a surge of anti-Semitism.

In a candid conversation, Jewish-Canadian businessman Irving Weisdorf and Robert Vaughan delve into the origins of anti-Semitism, the historical context leading to the establishment of the state of Israel, and the complex dynamics of the insatiable animosity held by many Arab Palestinians towards their Jewish neighbours.

As 2023 draws to a close and an anticipated turbulent 2024 comes with an expectation of escalated assaults on individual freedom, one positive trend has been a growing cultural resistance to the tyranny and its many manifestations. If it’s true that politics is ‘downstream from culture,’ then it is beginning to appear that the Left’s dominance of the cultural mosaic is finally encountering some meaningful competition from the Right.

Fundamental to classifying any artistic expression as being Just Right is the understanding that all such expression values individual freedom and/or condemns tyranny.

Increasingly, more and more musical artists are finding themselves on the Right by singing out on behalf of freedom. As both a form of protest and critical analysis, the combination of the Right words with the Right music can prove to powerfully and emotionally reflect the changing zeitgeist of the day in a way otherwise not possible.

Our first two unique and distinctive musical collections defying the propaganda of the day can be found archived on our site with the broadcasts of Just Right-738-December 23, 2021 and Just Right-817-June 29, 2023. It is in the spirit of this growing awakening that we now dedicate a third broadcast devoted to yet another unique and distinctive collection of music that’s Just Right.

Since October 7 the attack on Israel by Hamas has dominated the world stage. Though initial global reaction sympathized with the Israeli victims, it was not long before Western public sentiment had expressed a surprising level of moral support for the actions of Hamas, accompanied by open calls for the death of Jews.

Why the Jewish culture has been so hated and condemned throughout history has never been explained in a way that can withstand the test of time. To help broaden our discussions about the nature of Israel and Jewish traditions, our guest Irving Weisdorf – as a secular Jew himself – offers his own perspective and experience within the Jewish tradition.

With a traditional stress on education and hard work combined with an ethic of “being the best that you can be,” that philosophy goes a long way towards explaining why the Jewish culture is so successful. It may also help explain the real motivation behind anti-Semitism as being a “hatred of the good for being the good,” as described by Ayn Rand.

Whether this proves to be the explanation that is Just Right is something that can only be determined in an open forum of free discussion involving the nature of good and evil itself.

pain
Few people have actually experienced being hospitalized or the pain and discomfort that most often accompanies the need for hospitalization. That unfortunate opportunity presented itself to Just Right’s host Robert Metz who in today’s broadcast reports on that experience along with some broader observations about Canada’s socialized health care system.

London Ontario’s Victoria Hospital is a city within a city. Helicopters fly in regularly bringing patients from various parts of the province and arriving ambulances can be heard on a regular basis. But given many of the news items and stories about Canada’s health care crisis, all of this activity seems incongruous with the reports.

Beyond such considerations, the one thing most of the patients in the trauma unit share in common is the “pain factor.” How each individual reacts to pain – whether their own pain or the pain of others – can be as different as night and day. Beyond the physical trauma and challenge of being in the trauma unit of the hospital, there is also psychological stress that can lead to unexpected consequences.

Our brief investigation into one such consequence has led to a philosophical principle that strikes at the heart of human behavior.

Perhaps the greatest irony about pain is that it so often is the motivation required to push people in a direction that is Just Right.

peace

L’chaim! A traditional Jewish toast celebrating life has taken a somber note in the Middle East, with recent events like the Hamas Massacre on October 7th and Israel’s retaliatory bombing of Gaza. The echoes of conflict reverberate through a history that traces back to the establishment of Israel by the United Nations in 1948, marking 75 years of persistent bloodshed in the region.

Despite the grim reality, a glimmer of optimism urges us to seek resolution in understanding the historical roots of this enduring rivalry. To unravel the complex narrative, Robert Vaughan engaged in a thought-provoking conversation with Professor Salim Mansur of Western University. Mansur’s recent Substack article, titled Rabin’s Murder is Prehistory of Gaza-Israel 10/7, delves into the profound changes Israel underwent from a secular state led by figures like Yitzhak Rabin to a religious state under leaders like Benjamin Netanyahu. Mansur suggests that this shift contributed to a trajectory of increased bloodshed and conflict, posing a challenge with no clear solution, possibly necessitating intervention by the United Nations.

Bin Laden

Following the Oct 7th Hamas Massacre in Israel, there has been an increase in awareness among many young people about Osama bin Laden’s “Letter to America,” a manifesto which was published 14 months after the 9/11 attacks on America.

Most of these young individuals were too young to recall the events of that day, which occurred 22 years ago. Indeed, many were not even born. In a sense, they might be forgiven for their ignorance of Bin Laden’s encyclical and the surrounding causes and effects of Al Qaeda’s actions. However, upon learning about why bin Laden killed almost 3,000 civilians, it should be clear to most with a conscience, that there is no justification for his heinous deeds.

In his lengthy missive, Bin Laden addresses two main questions: why he attacked and what he expects Americans to do in response. He claims that America attacked first, referring to the United States’ ongoing military engagements—the so-called Forever War. This constant interference in the affairs of other nations, unrelated to America’s existential concerns, serves primarily to sustain the Military Industrial Complex. For those shocked by the revelations on platforms like TikTok, this should serve as a wake-up call.

Bin Laden’s answer to the second question is straightforward: submit to Islam or face death. In this episode, we delve into the perplexing reactions of young Americans who are only now awakening to history and discovering the malevolence within the minds of Islamists willing to kill men, women, and children for their beliefs. As Bin Laden chillingly stated, “(We) desire death more than you desire life.

This chilling admission from a mass murderer in his Ex Post Facto Manifesto is no different from the manifestos left behind by others seeking redress for perceived wrongs through violence.

Evil

Steven Crowder’s disclosure of the manifesto by Audrey Hale, the Covenant School shooter, has prompted some to label such heinous acts as the very definition of mental illness. However, categorizing evil solely as a mental disorder or abnormal dysfunction serves as an excuse rather than a proper understanding.

Evil deeds stem from a deliberate suspension of one’s consciousness and a rejection of critical thinking. Every individual has the potential for wrongdoing, influenced by their upbringing and the circumstances that shape their moral compass.

The Hamas Massacre on October 7 in Israel highlights that the conditions for evil exist in all people. It is only through a conscious decision to think and an act of will can we overcome the inclination to react violently to those we disagree with or those we’ve been conditioned to hate.

In the information and propaganda war that always accompanies a physical war, maintaining the narrative is key to winning both. Today’s confusion reigning around the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is completely understandable, and has a deliberate cause.

It also has had a desired effect, observed mainly in the international moral outrage against the “terrorist Hamas” from the Right, and in international moral support for the “resistance movement Hamas” from the Left.

Disturbingly, these emotionally charged public reactions could easily be interpreted as benefiting either side of the conflict, leaving open the question of a “false flag” operation on the part of Israel – particularly in light of its open border and lack of response during the invasion on October 7.

Worse, in the din of the “this is Israel’s 9/11” chorus, one cannot help but reflect on the fact that 9/11 itself is now understood to have been a false flag event, calculated to initiate a war in the mid-east.

While it may seem callous to downplay the unspeakable atrocities committed on the Gaza strip, to do otherwise is an invitation for more of the same. After all, the very purpose behind the “shock and terror” violence is to manipulate we the people.

For those in the conflict, what matters most is controlling the narrative, and the question of whether or not the reported acts of terrorism are real, imagined, manufactured or some combination thereof is secondary. What is necessary is to have the desired narrative believed and accepted by as many as possible in order to justify yet another battle in the greater global conflict increasingly being recognized as World War III.

In order to make sense of the latest conflict a good place to start is by recognizing World War III is not a war between nations; it is a war within nations. The Palestinian-Israeli conflict is but the latest example of a fate that awaits all nations who fail to do what’s Just Right when dealing with what’s Left in their midst.

833 – Multiculturalism—and the normalization of fascism | Salim Mansur

Comments Off on 833 – Multiculturalism—and the normalization of fascism | Salim Mansur
Oct 192023

“When you cannot define something, it has no identity,” asserts our guest Salim Mansur in a statement that strikes at the heart of all politics and human rationality.

At question is the term “multiculturalism.” Salim has been calling it a “Delectable Lie” which is also the title of the book he wrote to repudiate that lie and to distinguish the natural social condition of “multi ethnicity” from the contradictory and undefinable concept of “multiculturalism.”

“Culture” describes a human collective based upon a set of commonly shared values. “Ethnicity” describes an individual, based on physical characteristics, language, religion, social tradition, and/or nation of origin, etc.

And while it is valid to say that a group of individuals sharing the same ethnicity and values can be called a “culture,” the same cannot be said about a multiple “group of cultures.” This is contradictory.

For example, if “two or more cultures” were said to share the same set of values, then by definition we would still be dealing with a single culture (i.e., Western culture). But if two or more cultures with widely differing and opposing values were to be grouped under a single identity, calling such a grouping a “culture” is an absurd contradiction because it completely invalidates the concept and definition of “culture.”

Hence, “multiculturalism” – the “ism” being key to the true nature of the concept (political), and of those who would promote it (politicians). Given the globalist agenda to destroy cultures and nationhood, the anti-concept “multiculturalism” was invented to accommodate and perpetuate a contradiction destructive to all real cultures. That contradiction is the real reason why the term can never be defined objectively.

Consequently, defining the term has been left to the subjective whims of the politicians forcing their destructive contradiction upon society, an agenda that by its nature is fascist. Thus by the simple acceptance of the term “multiculturalism” fascism itself has become normalized within the liberal cultures originally founded to prevent that from happening.

Fortunately, Salim’s warning against multiculturalism comes with a singular remedy that’s Just Right: “E pluribus unum” (Out of many, one).

Multiculturalism—Gateway to chaos | Salim Mansur

United Kingdom Home Secretary Suella Braverman, along with other Western leaders, has shared concerns about multiculturalism, viewing it as a policy which has failed Western society. She sees it as a policy that has unintentionally led to the creation of isolated communities, where people live lives parallel to the rest of society, often challenging the institutions and laws of their host countries to promote their own collective and tribal goals.

In Canada, where multiculturalism is an official policy, we’ve witnessed the outcomes of significant, unrestricted immigration. People are bringing with them the collectivist influences of their own cultures. Whether it is the Khalistani separatists, Ukrainian Nazis, or Hamas supporters, to name but a few, the official endorsement of multiculturalism has permitted such groups to contributed to a cultural gap between the foundational classical liberal culture of the West and tribal sentiments and passions of less liberal societies.

Salim Mansur, professor emeritus at Western University, sheds light on this concerning political trend. Twelve years ago, he expressed his scholarly perspective in Delectable Lie: a liberal repudiation of multiculturalism. His views then as well as now, serve as a cautionary reminder of the potential chaos tied to the shortcomings of multiculturalism as a policy.

“The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous.” – George Orwell

Over the past week, the world’s attention has been shifted from the “war” in Ukraine to a “war” in Israel. In a matter of days, everyone’s attention shifted from the previous week’s frenzy about Canada, Russia, Ukraine and the Nazis in our midst (including Jewish Nazis), to yet another event calculated to engender global sympathy for Israel and the Jewish people.

What is happening in Israel today is directly connected to events in Ukraine; any attempt to isolate one event from the other is to fail to understand that World War III is already well under way.

“Distant history will view all of these wars as nuances, concluding that Wars I, II, and III were really one catastrophic conflict with time out for rearmament and recruitment,” suggests Bill Whittle in his recent review of wars past and present.

War is not the greatest evil to fear. It is the condition of tyranny that results when collectivism rules instead of individualism, which has been the default condition under which most of humanity has lived since the beginning of recorded history.

It is a sad reality of history that the number of people killed in wars fought against foreign enemies is utterly dwarfed when compared to the number of people killed, murdered, and enslaved by their own rulers and governments. In this context, wars are mere flash points of a given tyranny running into resistance, more often from another tyranny than from any popular or democratic resistance. Hence, perpetual wars.

In the Western nations, tyrannies have been hastened with the consent of the people, a consent that does not necessarily mean agreement or support – just cooperation and compliance.

Too many have failed to resist or to speak out against a growing tyranny when the opportunity still exists. In the classic “I see nothing – I hear nothing – I know nothing” expression of denial popularized in the 1960s television series Hogan’s Heroes, most “say nothing” – even in the face of outrageous injustices and horrors.

Despite this, governments are doing all they can to silence the few voices that dare to speak out in an effort to prevent those voices from being heard by others. The antidote to tyranny, and therefore to war, is to ensure that a critical mass of people “see something, hear something, and know something” that is Just Right – and then act accordingly.

Canada’s unconscionable support of the most corrupt and evil regime on the planet – Ukraine – is consistent with its federal parliament having unanimously given two standing ovations (on September 22) to one of the most evil Nazi war criminals on the planet – Yaroslav Hunka.

So why is the Canadian parliament now pretending to be so embarrassed about honoring this Nazi, while simultaneously speaking with moral righteousness and pride about honoring another Nazi – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy?

More significantly, why is Canada so determined to support an openly Nazi regime responsible for unspeakable and reprehensible acts of murder terrorism and torture in Ukraine for many years now?

Our guest Salim Mansur offers a deeply uncomfortable response to these questions, forcing a discussion of one of the most taboo subjects anywhere. Taboo, because the reality of “Jewish Nazis” has become universally denounced as a contradiction in terms, and there are interests who want to keep that myth alive. As a safe haven for thousands of unvetted Nazis since the end of WW2, Canada is home to many of these interests, which explains much of the motivation behind Trudeau’s hatred of the Russians.

When Putin originally announced that he intended to “de-Nazify Ukraine” he was being quite literal and precise about the nature of the conflicts there. If Salim’s prediction that Putin will soon be “flinging the evidence (of Nazi criminality) in the face of the Western world” should come to pass, then the next move to take that would be Just Right is to “de-Nazify Canada.”

To continue treating the fictional “2SLGBTQIA+ community” as if it was an actual constituency of some sort is playing the Left’s game. The invention of this imaginary community is part of an explicitly outlined Marxist agenda, which for the most part appears to be a fact left out of the broader discussion.

In the wake of Canada’s September 20th’s Million March for Children, every politician from Justin Trudeau to the mayors of local municipalities chimed in on their rehearsed opposition to the event. “I am alarmed by the increasingly harmful anti-2SLGBTQIA+ rhetoric that is being directed toward our schools,” declared Whitby Ontario mayor Elizabeth Roy.

Since her alarm in no way addressed the purpose of the Million March for Children and echoed the same misdirected and irrational message being repeated by politicians across the country, it was clear that this was outright political propaganda organized at some higher level.

Meanwhile, the union-organized counter protests also repeated the same propaganda, thus rendering them utterly unable to rationally articulate their case when asked to do so. This is understandable as the labor organizers of the counter protesters clearly stated they were there merely to “disrupt” those in the Million March for Children. Continue reading »

Thanks to the release of a secret recording of a September 16 joint meeting organized by a “coalition” of labor groups, the public has been able to directly witness a self-described “co-conspiracy” to disrupt, demoralize, destroy, bully and intimidate marchers participating in the September 20 Million March for Children.

Led by the Ontario Federation of Labour, the Canadian Labour Congress, the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), and various political sub-committees of these unions, the on-line meeting revealed an agenda bordering on criminal.

With a stated objective of “fighting against hate” the co-conspirators planned to “occupy” the areas where the children’s marches were taking place. It was even suggested to target, demoralize and intimidate individual marchers by recording their license plate numbers and letting them know they’re being watched.

Planned tactics included organizing “rapid response teams ready to combat this hate” with noise and disruption, and opposing any call for parental consent and parental authority. “Let’s give them some fright,” said the CUPE Ontario Human Rights Chair.

In order to justify their sinister agenda, the conspirators claim that they are protecting the “2SLGBTQIA+ community” from the “hate” of the marchers for children. However, not only is 2SLGBTQIA+ an absurd acronym for a fictional “community” that simply does not exist, what most do not know is that 2SLGBTQIA+ is a Marxist conspiracy of hate.

Only days ago, American economist and senior fellow at the Hoover Institution Thomas Sowell described the campaign against parental authority this way: “This is not spontaneous. It’s organized and the tactics used are those developed for brainwashing in communist countries.”

Moreover, the obsession with promoting “drag queens” in public schools, and with the grooming of children too young to be confronted with sexual issues, is more than disturbing. There’s clearly something about these “activists” of the Left that’s not quite Just Right.

828 – The crisis narrative—from 9/11 to 2023

 Comments Off on 828 – The crisis narrative—from 9/11 to 2023
Sep 142023

In marking the 22nd anniversary of 9/11, we looked into our own archive to see how we ourselves were discussing what is today understood to have been a state orchestrated false flag, and what we said in 2001 was alarming. Our first public discussion on this criminal state psyop took place on September 19 2001, only eight days following what the late documentarian Graham McQueen recently called “the worst event since World War 2.”

The “Left Right and Center” panel discussion that aired on CJBK AM radio 1290 in London Ontario with host Jim Chapman, London lawyer Jeff Schlemmer, and Freedom Party president Robert Metz presented a shockingly prophetic narrative in the context of today’s dystopia. Significantly, there was no mention of Osama Bin Laden, no mention of any identifiable foreign enemies, and not even any mention of the term “9/11” which did not come into popular usage until it was later associated with a series of false narratives spread by American officials.

It is easy to have forgotten that in the first days following September 11, the only context of the public discussion was focused on the government’s agenda for dealing with “terrorism.” That agenda included lockdowns, censorship, the issuance of “identity cards” and a call to go to war against some as yet unknown enemy. Worse, Americans were being asked to express a “willingness to temporarily sacrifice some of their constitutional protections in the name of making America a safer place for everyone.”

Sound familiar? It was the identical crisis narrative being repeated today with respect to Covid, climate change, Russia, Ukraine, the stolen American election, the assassinations of American presidents and leaders and every current act of treason perpetrated by the deep state again surfacing in the state manufactured crises’ of 2023. Their entire agenda – from 9/11 to 2023 – has always been predicated on a state murdering its own citizens, while transitioning everyone else into submissive slaves. This is a difficult pill to swallow, no matter how you look at it.

Perhaps the most prophetic words to come out of our September 19/01 discussion occurred with the following observation by Metz:

“You will know that your civil liberties are infringed upon when the state tells you that you can’t meet, you can’t have more than four people at your house at one time, or you can’t say what you want.”

It is now 2023. Been there. Done that. And they’re still doing it.

Being able to predict the future in a way that turned out to be Just Right was simply one consequence of understanding the principles that eventually led to the creation of this radio broadcast/podcast bearing the same name.

827 – At the tipping point—toward the rise or fall of America

Comments Off on 827 – At the tipping point—toward the rise or fall of America

There is a growing chorus of voices throughout the social media community that is warning of an imminent collapse of Western civilization.

Given the dystopian zeitgeist, it is difficult to avoid such a conclusion. We appear to have reached a tipping point, where open discussion is taking place about the probability of an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, the probability of a nuclear exchange between America and Russia, and the probability of censorship on a scale unprecedented.

Among the dystopian predictions is one concerning a “cyber attack,” including a complete shut down of the internet. This has sparked a discussion about the need for a return to “offline” media, including AM radio and short wave broadcasting.

“The future is offline,” recently predicted Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai – a significant prediction given that it was made by a U.S. presidential candidate and inventor of e-mail.

But the predictions are not all apocalyptic. Some hold promise, especially if considered “conspiracy theories” by the Left and the deep state. Most glaringly, the Left’s obsession with “Qanon” tempts us to comment “Methinks they doth protest too much…”

Meanwhile, General Michael Flynn has warned of a potential cyber attack, explaining how truly vulnerable the web is, and how easily the government can control it. For those seeking the facts and truth during such an event, access to alternative means of communication like short wave is among the recommended options.

Predicting which of the many apocalyptic predictions will prove to be Just Right is never a certainty, but it’s worth knowing that some predictions paint a future that is not dark, but bright.

826 – Nuclear consequences—behind the Manhattan Project | Salim Mansur

History can be described as “the consequences of consequences” suggests our guest, Salim Mansur. Consequently, like any science, history too is never “settled.”

Nothing could illustrate this principle more clearly than Salim’s latest analysis of the history behind America’s irrational hatred of all things Russian, which startlingly has a direct connection to the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the end of World War 2.

Harry Truman’s decision to use nuclear weapons in Japan came on the heels of their successful development made possible by the Manhattan Project. The bombing of Hiroshima marked the break in America’s wartime alliance with Russia, instantly converting an ally into an enemy, argues Salim. It was also the “first shot taken in the cold war.”

It is a chilling account of the development of what has been called the “deep state” and of the military-industrial-complex with which it is associated. The Manhattan Project was itself evidence of a deep state already deeply entrenched, though then, as with revelations about today’s deep state, its existence was unknown – even to some of the highest officials in the country.

The great tragedy behind the bombings of Japan is that they were known at the time to be militarily unnecessary, and were sadly motivated by the Truman administration’s political considerations concerning America’s future relationship with Russia.

During his previous discussion on Just Right, Salim warned that a disinterest in history is a symptom of a nihilistic society since a culture or nation without a past cannot steer itself to a better future.

As if to illustrate this truth, his latest journey down the “rabbit hole” of history surrounding the Manhattan Project, the bombing of Japan, and America’s anti-Russian obsession, has revealed a world that today is close to repeating a tragic historical consequence far from being Just Right.

825 – Apocalyptic—awakening to our Orwellian dystopia

Comments Off on 825 – Apocalyptic—awakening to our Orwellian dystopia

In Canada, Ottawa detective Helen Grus is currently being subjected to an official disciplinary hearing due to her investigation of nine cases of sudden infant death syndrome that led her to question the vaccination status of the mothers involved. Following the release of Pfizer’s own published data confirming that breast feeding when vaccinated could lead to the death or injury of the babies, her follow-up was in every respect consistent with all expected initiatives that would be undertaken by a police officer specializing in crimes against children.

Astoundingly, observers at the hearing have not only concluded that the process is corrupt and thoroughly unjust, but more alarmingly, have concluded that Canada is now a fully established communist country. That awakening, coming in 2023, is itself evidence of the tremendous social and political inertia that must be overcome in order to alert citizens to the extreme danger facing them, since Canada has been a communist country for several decades and longer.

Though socialism can be blamed for Canada’s current “sudden death syndrome,” the acceptance of this evil collectivism was neither “sudden” nor accidental. In the Orwellian year of 1984, Canada was already well on its way moving on from socialism to communism and its natural ally, fascism.

America’s political condition is no different. As in Canada, a broad lack of knowledge and understanding about all things political (as opposed to electoral) provides a fertile breeding ground for collectivism. Continue reading »

824 – The anonymous Q—behind the ‘Qanon’ psyop

Comments Off on 824 – The anonymous Q—behind the ‘Qanon’ psyop

Donald Trump’s recent social media posting featuring Dr Jan Halper-Hayes’ comments on a GBnews interview raised a few eyebrows, while most observers tried to look the other way.

As someone who sat on a task force at the department of defense during Trump’s presidency, Halper-Hayes asserted “If you think that they don’t have the actual real results from the (2020) election, then you’re fooling yourself.” And in referring to the US military and the Trump-created Space Force as being the means by which such evidence was collected, those raising their eyebrows at such a claim understood that this has been the narrative of the so-called “Qanon conspiracy theory” since its beginnings.

Skepticism abounds. The deep state’s appointed poster boy for its January 6 “insurrection” narrative, Jake Angeli-Chansley (falsely labeled as the “Qanon Shaman”) has recently been released from his unconscionable imprisonment in solitary confinement and is now being heard on many of the top social media platforms.

In addressing his purported (and non-existent) role as the “Qanon Shaman,” the articulate, intelligent, and well-spoken Shaman nevertheless offered an eye-opening description and insight into the “Q” that completes the narrative of Dr Jan Halper-Hayes, and which resolves some of our own unanswered questions regarding the phenomenon.

“Qanon is a myth” he says, “a psyop” (psychological operation) manufactured to discredit the “Q” – another psyop consisting of a group of high level military operatives who support Trump and the constitutional integrity of the United States.

It appears to be a developing conflict of biblical proportions, all currently focused on the electoral validity of the 2020 election and on the 2024 electability of Donald Trump. For the “Q” psyop, the first agenda is to set the record straight on each count, thus opening the door for Trump to do what is Just Right.
